It's the usual format of a series of challenges per show and one contestant leaves at the end of each episode. The women on that are insanely supportive of each other, and you can see the effect on the men that are taking part. Or the pressure on women to make an abusive relationship work. Or the pressure on women to accept abuse 'for the sake of the children'. Because 'it's not that bad' and 'there's faults on both sides'. But when they are burying her, or she's in hospital with injuries from 'him' it's always - 'why did she pick him instead of a nice guy' and 'why didn't she just leave'.
