Regardless of a "parenting contract" I feel that it would be wrong to put this 4 year old kid under the knife for something that is purely cosmetic. There was no medical need for this procedure, and the father wanted it because "it's normal". I thought courts were supposed to have the best interest of the child?

Just a quick question to get your opinion... Do you feel that if boys are told they are rapists, pedophiles, etc they are more likely to adapt to that ideology? Meaning; If you not only tell your child, but can make them believe that they are rapists, pedophiles etc. and that they have to cope with that fact in order to "respect" women. Would they be more or less likely to "respect" women or become the ladder? (rapist pedophile etc).

Right that is a form yes, and I don't disagree however I don't think it is morally incorrect to say that "penetration" is the only way to rape a man, and that the CDC's definition is simply not good enough. Right according to the report yes rape does not fit that definition; but that is why the post was made. To point out the inequality that due to a definition men can never be raped by a woman. It's also legal in many states; I know in some only one of the two parties have to know that the conversation is being recorded, which is absolutely ridiculous lol.... But ask someone who actually knows the local laws.

I couldn't agree more that both sides are needed, immensely for that matter. But if a group under MRM were to pull the same stunt at u of t it would be detrimental to our cause IMHO. Lucky for us I feel that a lot of MRAs are more tactful, polite and caring. (Generally speaking) I have yet to give my opinion and been told to shut up, "just because".

But being nice also gave an angry mob of feminists the rope to hang themselves on as the u of t video shows, IMHO. Although I do agree that the mrm should be more aggressive with distributing information and downplaying myths. However we are still a minority group, and people do not like change. With that being said it is more important to show equality and a level headed mindset then a violent and misconstrued image or ideology.

Also having the federal government sign or pass a law that agrees with the fact that a man can be raped could do a lot to persuade state level laws. Not to mention it gives someone better grounds to stand on when someone argues that a man can not be raped.

Add to this a violent history with her being jailed in the past, wreckless behavior that could endanger herself and the fetus, and a publicly known and witnessed record for being a liar and cheat. I couldn't have said it better myself. I think the problem with a lot of laws regarding this is 2 fold; social stigma, and the laws that are worded unfairly and automatically put the blame on the penis owner. I didn't really care for my books explanation of rape, but did appreciate that it points out that males can be raped, and that they are often not believed or flat out ignored.

Utah has terrible adoption laws, there was even a documentary on it a while ago, forgot the name of it, or maybe it was on tv or something? Although in that case they were not married but the father wanted to raise his child, but was unable to.

It's sad that assault condones murder( if she should play the route of beating). Also I am pretty sure cyanide prevents the creation of ATP by preventing a part of the electron transport chain, and doesn't affect the ability to carry o2, but rather inhibits its use.

This is debatable, I personally think that insurance should be based on frequency of care, health care costs, and overall health. Not gender. I don't really see anything with wrong with this story IMO. Since the husband and wife had been trying to birth a child I see it as fair, and no different then a husband or wife allowing the harvesting of organs for a patient in a persistent vegetative state. On a side note it could even be therapeutic for the wife.

I hate to say this, but I think it unjust that we should wait to see if the judicial system works fairly on this one case when men are often guilty until proven innocent for their crimes or lack thereof. Although waiting to see if it plays out as it should would be the correct course of action in a fair world.

As a Father to a beautiful 20 month old, when I heard about the shooting I hugged my child. What took place that day was a tragedy. It's a shame that someone would even create a cartoon at all. I can swallow that this is incredibly biased towards men and fathers, but I can not believe that someone would use the traumatic and violent loss of life to portray their opinions, and furthermore to do so as a joke. Absolutely disgusting.

Trying hard or accidental still results in injury. Shouldn't it based upon the damage done? For example you could push someone and they could hit there head on something causing a le fort fracture.... Or you could hit someone with a bat and also cause the same injury. Either way the victim is still seriously injured with an intent to cause harm or violent outburst...

Just a slight observation, someone is making a shit load of money by extorting both parties through the judicial system. It seems like MRM could ruin the lucrative party in DV cases. (side note although very self centered in her views and her problems; acknowledgement of a broken system by the other party is still a baby step in the right direction even if it is skewed )
