Men and Women are not at war. Let's enjoy each other.

YOU should be at the center. Don't improve yourself to attract women. Do it for you. Lift weights because it makes you feel better. Read and learn and become educated because it sharpens your mind and prepares you for difficult things. Advance in a career you love because it makes you financially secure and builds your resilience. Do it for you and women will notice.

For most of history, sex was dangerous for a woman. If you had many partners, you were seen as undesirable, or worse. You could be an outcast for being promiscuous. Divorce, in most historical societies, was a man's prerogative, if allowed at all. You could get pregnant, and the consequences were yours alone. Now, the choice is mostly a woman's. Birth control has lessened the consequences of being someone who likes sex. Women who like sex and have many men in life are generally seen as normal. O…

Women are more sexually fluid than men. Many women have done something with other women that men wouldn't normally do. I don't necessarily mean 'sex', but my girl friends and I kiss goodbye sometimes, we've showered together, etc. Most men wouldn't, at least with just two of them, except maybe at the gym.

I don’t think it does. I doubt seriously anyone peaks at ‘dating’ from 12 to 18.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 07:36 PM

I assumed it was 12 year olds dating 12 year olds.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 07:13 PM

Twelve? I didn’t even like boys until 14-15. Let alone date.

Men's dating peaks at 12-22?!? I'm pretty open minded but I strongly disagree with this.

It isn't a perfect path. But the way you posed it is kind of gross and that kind of guy is unlikely to get either with me.

I obviously have preferences, but it can be very different. I once fell in love with an ugly guy who was really funny and treated me like a queen. I’ve had partners who were gorgeous but not vain. I’ve had partners who were brilliant and interesting and we did adventures together. There’s no magic list. There are a lot of boxes to check, and many combinations of what I like can get my attention.

I have sex with multiple guys. Not at the same time, but I have more than one ongoing physical relationship. It is not about "being endowed with certain bodily blessings" unless you count working out and taking care of their health. I do like a muscular body but I have had lots of great sex with guys who are very average builds. For me, you have to be fun and interesting. Self involved guys, for any reason bitterness, vanity, etc. (are a huge turnoff).

I (24F) work in tech and work out at a gym so I know a lot of involuntarily celibate guys. Most are very sweet and good friends, and I am glad to have these guys in my life. Then there are what people often call 'incels' who are bitter and mean and pick apart every word you say to paint women as actively trying to exclude and hurt them. I love the former. I only really interact with the latter on reddit, and it always leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.

I have posted this before, but there are reasons why men are to be chosen, and women have the privilege of choice. Evolution has given women the choice of partner, and required men to be chosen. This is species as well as societal evolution. Traditionally, women bore the consequences of sex. We get pregnant, we raise the kid, etc. Also, historically women who love sex have been shunned and even punished by society. As a result, women must be selective. Finally, testosterone gives men a greater u…

Wow this is a really dark view and not at all true. Partner choice has very little to do with rape, and 'all the women' are certainly not 'fucking the top 5% of men' You're giving off very bad energy with posts like this.

Of course individuals will very. The post I replied to was about social issues, so generalizations will be used. I wasn't wrong, broadly speaking. Yes, choice goes both ways. But if a typical woman and a typical man post a profile on tinder, which will get the most hits? Every time I post about sex, my inbox fills up with thirsty men. And I don't even post pictures. Contraception and also societal expectations have liberated women to not be slut shamed or pregnant, yes. It will take some time fo…

I’m 24. I dated a guy 15 years older than me. I’d go down to 20 yrs old, if he was mature. The youngest guy I’ve been with was six months younger than me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 11:32 PM

Well said! It seems to be a numbers game. If I’m a thirsty guy and I hit 1,000i inboxes, I only need a 0.1% success rate to get laid. In my experience, men are looking for the ‘benefits’ first and adding friendship. Women are looking for a good friend to add benefits with.

"just be yourself" It isn't entirely true, but you should be the best version of yourself. Just being yourself is sounds kind of lazy, and a lot of guys / girls become complacent. Be the best version of yourself and do try to make a good first impression.

This is an interesting thread. Although many people will disagree, I think this is fairly accurate. People have a right to want what they want, and we all have a right to be selective with how we partner.

Be the best version of yourself. That's advice. To be specific? Get in shape. Get your teeth cleaned. Get a skill, beit education or a certification or get bonded. Get trained. Take toastmasters and read a lot of books. Volunteer. Women notice a man on a mission. A short, ugly guy with a ton to offer gets women.

24F here. I agree with you. Women don't think about 'scoring' and we're generally not trying to screen to keep some of you celibate. We want what you want: a relationship, fun sex, to be loved. Women are people, just like you. We just have different plumbing. Just be the best version of yourself and girls will notice. We also notice thirsty behavioral, being obsessed with sex. That's not attractive. Your mileage may vary. My advice, chill and become the best YOU.

Did YOU pay attention? He led the Civil Rights movement 100 years before anyone else. He single handedly carried reconstruction while both republicans and democrats opposed him. He held the union together while both sides threatened to restart civil war. At the turn of the 1900s, he was often mentioned with Washington and Lincoln as a top three president. He is correctly maligned for bad judgement in appointments. His cronies were corrupt, and he is responsible. But In no way was he a ‘terrible …

I’m a woman (24). I’ve dated short guys. Many are great, with better character than tall guys. You’re in a tough spot. If you assert yourself, you have a Napoleon complex. If you don’t, people think you’re intimidated and easy to push around. It’s a tough spot. But there have been great presidents and titans of industry who were short. So you’re short. All the anger in the world won’t make you taller. So draw up your mission and pursue it relentlessly. Rise above. Height is one quality and altho…

Romantic feelings are messy. We have been friends so long; I don't want to mess that up. Additionally, sometimes I just want cunnilingus without blowing the guy in return. Reciprocity isn't always required, and we can just blow off stress together better without romance.

I am an average looking 24 year old. I disagree with the premise of the argument. Women aren't all looking for a man to save them. I make more money than all of the men I am currently or have recently dated. The closest ones to me are these: "Just have fun and fuck hot guys/party" - I am mostly through my 'hoe phase' but I like men, and I like sex, so I have it when the situation is right. "Get a bf your own age and have the best relationship while you are both fit and attracted to each other. T…

He won't though. He knows I will have sex with him eventually, and most men will put up with a lot if sex is on the table.

I (F 24) can understand this perspective. Form a woman's point of view, historically, sex has been very risky. If we end up pregnant, we bear the child and can bear the responsibility for parenting that child. Also, historically (and still in many cultures) women who love sex can be seen as not fit for proper society, and also unfit to marry. For these reasons, evolution has made women the chooser, and men to be chosen. It might seem unfair, but this is what our societal rules have brought us to…

This is such a strange debate. Curiosity and vision are literally intrinsic values of a person. Ok. What do YOU think would qualify as a green flag.

This is a strange debate to me. I answered the question. I'm not looking for what a man can provide. I make more than most of the men I date. I'm saying it is a green flag (not my only or even primary criteria) when a man has a mission. This man is very unlikely to be several kinds of trouble that a directionless man can be.

I’m in programming and I want to travel and visit other places. So my mission is to lead an interesting life and help others.

You’re wrong. It doesn’t matter much about income. There are a ton of starving artists, rock stars, etc. they get a lot of women. We just like a guy doing something. Producing something. And a lot of dudes with money are just…gross. A man who lives ‘the most interesting life’ is a dude I will date, regardless of his money.

Focus and laughter. I love a man on a mission. When you have a goal that doesn't involve sex or a relationship, that's the best thing to me. Also, a man who laughs a lot enjoys the world. Laugh at the world, at the absurd, at himself. I want to launch together and support him on his mission. To this girl, what a lot of red pill guys get wrong is that they focus so much on sex and relationships, that they lose their mission. Focus on being the best you and girls will notice.

Privilege is generally invisible to those who have it. This is why both genders believe they have it worse. I'm a 25F here. What would you like to see? What conversations would be helpful? Ask question, start conversations, and we can try to have them.

I think if your focus is on other men, it is difficult to get women. I F 24) like a man focused on getting better, who can focus on me when he is with me. A man focused on other men has lost his focus.

Of course. I tend to be chubby myself. If you’re not a 7, you might not land a 7. Maybe a 4 is amazing and can make your life happy. Being full of joy is better than not.

I disagree completely. Bezos and Elon don’t look like much. Not tall, no good jawline. Rich, sure. But they got that way by being FOCUSED. And that’s sexy. Have a mission and drive.

I understand and sympathize. Really, I do. Men and women each have very real and very different privilege.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/23 05:14 PM

I understand this viewpoint. From a man's perspective, women have it easy because evolution has given us the privilege of choice. This isn't to harm men, however. As much as it seems personal, it serves a strong purpose. Historically, enjoying sex has resulted in women being outcasts in society. We had to marry to have sex. If we marry the wrong guy, it led to horrible consequences of abuse and a long, long life without freedom. Also, pregnancy (historically) didn't tie the man down but the wome…

Not a red flag. I'd want to know why. A lot of men your age (my age too, I'm 24), have been really focused on school, self improvement, and building a career. If this is the case, it might actually be a green flag.

Women aren't a monolith. We don't all act the same way, and we don't want all the same things. Ok, so women can only get pregnant 3-5 days a month. But which days? Ovulation is based on the *next* period and no one can predict the future.

I doubt there are enough women who have been with 'thousands of men' to be concerned about. Don't get wrapped around anxiety about something like that. Also, her past is her past. Who cares? We've all grown and evolved.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 07:29 PM

For thousands of years of evolution, sex has had much harsher consequences for women than men. Pregnancy is a whole year when you factor post-partem issues. A man biologically can have sex and just leave. You can impregnate many, many women and just move on. Also, women were stoned for perceived harms. As such, society evolved to give women the Privilege of choice. Sex affects us more, so we get to choose a partner. In 2023, with birth control and society waking up to the abuse and shame to wome…

Great question. I've really thought on this one. I (24F) have a lot of friends and acquaintances who really are involuntarily celibate. Its on my mind lately to try and really coach them into how to approach women in a safe environment. You have to establish strong boundaries so that you're not misunderstood (a real issue). But I want to help, and I suspect I am not alone in this.
