University of Michigan. Sad to see this from them... not surprised, but still sad.

My one concern is the fatherless/motherless graph. I'm wondering if the numbers are potentially skewed due to men not having custody etc, or if they considered an equal sample size of fatherless and motherless homes.

I'm on my phone so searching for the exact thread is near impossible, but there was a recent ama from a police or fbi guy who posed online as a young girl in an attempt to catch online predators. People who wish to do it are discouraged or even bullied into fitting into the standard that has been assumed for men. It's so rare to see a man who paints his nails that at least for me it was a bit of a mental disconnect and I had to do a subtle double take. I consider myself somewhat of an old fashioned guy but if someone is obeying the law and isn't going around with a giant dildo strapped to their forehead (please forgive the hyperbolic imagery) I don't see why in 2012 anyone should really …

Good on you buddy. Just realize it isn't considered a societal norm yet and you will get flak for doing it. Just do what makes you happy without making a huge scene and your friends and family will hopefully learn to accept it. I saw a hotel clerk with bright red nails the other week, it kinda threw me off but if it's what he wanted to do, go for it, no skin off my teeth. People will get used to it and if it doesn't hurt others, you should be encouraged to do what makes you the happiest.
