Look, I’m simply speaking from my own experience with weight loss. When I lost 80lbs in just under 6 months, it wasn’t majority water weight. It wasn’t even half water weight. I know this because real weight loss is consistent, and water weight fluctuates daily. Yes...and? I never said that I lost the weight because I made the conscious choice to heavily restrict my calories. I lost weight because I was only eating around 800 calories a day, not because amphetamines burn fat. Someone can chose to only eat 800 calories a day without amphetamines and get the same result.

20lbs of water weight is near freaking impossible. You can tell if it’s water weight if you aren’t gaining and losing 20lbs overnight. Regardless, I really doubt OP is going to be too bothered that only 56 out of the 66lbs she lost was fat. I sure wasn’t.

If you lose 66lbs, it’s not water weight. I’ve seen the results in myself. I didn’t go from a size 20 to a size 10 by shedding 80lbs of water weight in 5 months.

Totally possible. Not even all that dangerous in the short term. I lost about 80 lbs in 5ish months when I started taking medication for my ADHD again (I was 250 at 5’6). I was monitored by a doctor the whole time and my work ups came out a lot better after than before, doctor wasn’t concerned. That sort of restriction on the long term wouldn’t be healthy though, and won’t solve the weight issue in the long term since it’s not really a sustainable solution.

I WAS JUST PONDERING THIS. So it’s okay to formula feed if mommy decides she doesn’t want to breast feed. “Fed is best!, don’t feel pressured, formula is fine for babies.” Until dad wants custody. Then formula is marketed poison for babies and they’ll literally explode or end up traumatized and a serial killer if they have to eat formula for 2 nights a week. Okay 🙄
