Redefine your happiness as the equivalent of taking actions. Dont base happiness as success and failure or rejection or acceptance. If you take actions every day, then you're the man. Of course theres always desensitize method like ask stranger what time it is or location of a restaurant to get over approach anxiety. Another aspect people rarely talk about on here is having a spiritual practice also help. Best of luck.

Set out what values you want in a girl, for example compassion, honesty, well traveled, spiritually inclined etc. Work toward those same values as a person. Simultaneously talk to girls at the same time and try to attract what you put out. Find the common ground and start from there. This is is you want a partner for life. If you want hook ups then it is different. Regardless of technique use, I would say do everything with grace.

Indeed model is so simple and powerful. I felt like everything else over complicated and make me analysis paralysis. After model I was able to apporach and be "myself"

Be confident but not cocky. Affirm yourself before approach that you're a kind man with good intentions and want to elevate people moods or something like that. Volunteering has helped me where I have to approach and ask people if they want me to pray for them or not. Taking comfort in the absolute truth that you have good intentions regardless of how they react.

That's true in a perfect world all humans are rational and should and able to be direct without fear of rejection. But we are not. Sometimes men need some signs to gather more courage. And sometimes coming on too strong is a turn off.

A better analogy would be if you dont stop eating ice cream, you will never get to enjoy steaks or any other foods because all you think you can get is ice cream.

The number one sign is if he talks to you and hes not gay. Or if he gives you compliment, go out his way to talk to you. Sometimes he might be nervous. If he teases or make fun of you that's a good sign too. But in the end everybody is so different it's best to assume attraction until proven otherwise, and ask people for phone number and eventually hang out.

Everybody is inexperienced in some fields shapes or forms. There might be guys that were good eith girls in high school but after high school it's a different kind of game. They do have an advantage over 0 experience guy due to past positive reinforcement though. I had no girls experience until 25. I had major social phobia and anxiety and couldnt talk to anyone. I had to take small steps by saying hi to strangers and felt like I would pass out every time. Eventually I manage to date some girl a…

I was reading op post as more of being outcome independent and not put girls on pedestal. Your worth and happiness shouldnt be based on girls and if they reject you or not. But yes chances are you will only be able to attract girls with similar physical attractiveness as you.

Read and listen to podcasts. Start a podcast you'll be surprised how easy it is to maintain a conversation as you develop your podcasting skill. Get your best friends to be on it and talk as long as you guys can.

Those are good things that you should do. But dont think like you should finish doing those to deserve love or fulfillment. We often have this mindset that "if we do this, then we will be happy". Often time this can be detrimental to your inner self of worth. No amount of works can lead to self actualization. Of course it doesnt mean you dont work toward self improvement. But it means having peace and serenity regardless of your current situation is what ultimately what you want to achieve. Enjo…

With gym, you better talk to everybody, guys and girls, make friends with front desk receptionist and gym goers. This will develop social proof as well as make you more comfortable in that environment over time.

If you dont have courage to tell him. You can ask to hang out with him and watch tv together on the couch and just get close to him and then lean on him.

Last minute resistance is common. She might want something serious with you and dont want to feel like an easy chick. She might realized she forgot to shave. She might want to get to know you better. It doesnt really matter the reason because unless she flat out ignore you, shes still interest in you. She messaged you afterward so that's a clear sign she want to continue to get to know you. It's more about what you want to do from now on. You know shes receptive to you, so if you want to date he…

Search on this sub "social circle" you will see multiple advices thread. Right now it's hard due to covid. Meetup.com, social media, churches, joining a volunteer group are good way to meet new people. Stop the mindset that people dont want to talk to you. That's not healthy. You make the move and open up people. Be interest in their lives and practice good listening communication skill. Know that to build a good social circle takes a long time but it worths it. I hope you got her number already. You can just say in person Hey I like talking to you, let's get some coffee or tea or anything you like to do. Then text her the logistics. You dont have to say would you go on a date with me. Also it's better to make an assertive statement. You decide the specific location and time etc. Men should lead the logistics. This show her what you want and that you have strong decision making ability, ie. enhances your masculine energy and it allows women to be more f…

Not sure if troll post but if you're for real I think you might have some self images issue. Women dont compliment for no reason. Even if you're not good looking, you can get good haircut, fit clothes, work out to make you look as good as possible. Having bad body images is unattractive. Do what you can to improve your body and dont let it bother you. Your interaction with any women should be fun and masculine regardless if you're actually an ugly duckling or not.

I would ask her out in person if possible. If she says no or make excuses then you move on. If yes then set up logistics through text or call. You get better chance of saying yes when you ask in person and even if she says shes make excuses like "I'm busy" it will build your confident for next time. Easier said than done though.

Your message to her doesnt really ask for a respond unless she is really receptive to you already. Then she might say it was nice to meet you. If shes neutral or unreceptive she will leave on read. The general rule is to be vulnerable and polarize her fast so that you will know quickly if she gets receptive or not. This is from the book mark manson models. Be careful at work place dating though dont make her feel awkward

Yes it works but you still have to put in the work. They can help frame things and help you see things differently. Most college campus have free therapy or counseling resources. I haven't met anyone that say they regret taking therapy. Though it might require you to search for the right one that compatible to your personality. Having a good social support group is also good. Group support like Dharma recovery and 12 steps program can be helpful as well. They are free to attend (now mostly on zo…

By using meetup I was able to join a yoga group and make friends through there. Its harder now to pandemic but my tips is be consistent with meeting new people. It does take awhile to form bonds and make friends. You have to see them months depend on how comfortable you are. I also go to churches and meet new people. It's pretty easy to join a group and do volunteer activites together, eat together will help making friends easier. It might not be for everyone if you dont have a relationship with…

Guys are visual creatures. We judge girls attractiveness based on looks alone. Assuning your personality isnt a dumpster fire he will not friend zone you. Girls judge guys based on behaviors. Theres nothing left to do for you but let him know and ask him if he want to date. You can ask more people for advice but majority of people will tell you the same thing.

Yoga, boxing, improv, even sewing class. Meetup.com was great pre corona. Volunteer events is good too. You will have to go to these for awhile and talk to everybody, not just girls so it will be less pressure.

Felt like you have more of a self image issue. 5 6 and 130 is healthy. You can work toward building more mass (working out should be part of your lifestyle anyway) but inner confident and outcome independent mindset is key as well. You cant control your height so dont even mind that. As for your face, you look fine. The vibe that you project, your maturity, and your spirit is way more important to the type of women that you will attract. For long term relationship though, money will be key. So w…

You have to plant the good seeds and speak to yourself positively. Many rich people prefer honda civic over lambos because its more functional and efficient, also easier to maintain. Figure out what youre good at and pursue it. If you don't know what youre good at, then stop doing things that you know you shouldnt be doing ie. Drinking or eating too much, negativity, laziness, etc. Put yourself in the right environments like go to meetup or hobbies where you can meet single women. Overtime hope …

If he really that shy i think if you mentioned open marriage he might not accept you. Not because he doesnt like you but he propably prefer traditional single women. In either case you have to be honest with him and communicate so that you dont hurt him or you in the long run. If he really likes you, that open marriage wont be an issue. But i think it will from the way you described him. Regardless he probably still enjoy the company of a friend like you. Source: i was voted as the most bashful …

I litterally started talking to girls at age of 24. Before then when i look at a girl i would get so embarrassed my face would turn red and felt like im gona vomit. Im sure you have your own battle but the real fight is you versus you every single time. You can switch the mindset and become better or continue the same path. Best of luck.

Nobody ever really "make" it. We always want more and more. Its human nature. Enjoy the journey because it is better than the destination. The journey is beautiful and it is what living all about. The fact that you are going out and improving yourself is a lot more than most people can say. Even if you feel like youre not good enough, you trust in the process and ignore that feeling. If you talk to everybody at the gym and she sees you at being social, you have a better chance of getting her number. This might take awhile though. If you make a move now and she says no, keep talking to other girls and guys at the gym and build up that social circle. Abundance mentality!

I used to feel every men was older than me and i felt like a boy. Until i get more experiences which lead to more confidence and formed my own identity. Im 25 and still feel like a lost boy sometimes. But i think most men do feel like a boy at times. Going out of my comfort zones and pushing myself is what makes me feel more like a man. Went through the same thing with a chick I used to talk to. Realized that she was wasting my time so I shut her off. And have more time to focus on other girls. I think having abundance mentality is key. Let her have a lot of time to work herself out as shes vulnerable right now. You cant force her. It's up to you if you still want to be her friend or not and keep talking to her. But I wouldn't let her be the only girl that you focus on.

For me, getting a job at the zoo where I have to talk with customers and interact with people a lot was a big step for me. A lot of my co workers are young college students, so I made a lot of friends and start hanging out and doing new things. Then I would hit up my old friends and try out volunteering. Having an addictive personality can help you of you get addictive to positive things. Working out, eating healthy, do something creative. Volunteering, do martial arts. Going out and trying new things helped me with my 5 years of depression. Sometimes the darkness calls me back though. Creating a busy life style is what you should be doing. Not the op. But some things I do that scares me is I set up challenges with my friends where we do stuff that an average person would never do. We start off with small things like saying hi to strangers. Giving people high five. Complimenting people. Approaching girls in different ways. Dancing in public. Join toastmasters. Volunteering. A year later, now I'm doing stand up. I'm still not good with the ladies, but my anxiety and fears have gone down a lot. I still have a long way to go. I watch …

I'm lucky to have a job at the zoo. My co workers are very young so that's how I increase my social circle. But you can try to make new friends of your current friends. Like go to a. Friend party and just talk to people. Also, if you want people to invite you to parties or hang out, you're going to have to invite them first. The same thing happened to me. Im a virgin and started dating a girl who was interested in me romantically. She seems promiscuous so I only wanted to get experience. I told her that straight up. She still wants to date and hoping to convince me to be her boyfriend. I saw she started to have feelings for me. I started to feel something too.
