The internet is such a double edged sword. On one hand, everything you need is available to you 24/7. On the other, you also have 24/7 unlimited access to terrible things. We seem to be going down this path that is supposed to lead to "freedom" but it's just leading to a horrible place instead.

I think that as long as the US healthcare system exists as it currently does situations like this will keep happening. There doesn't seem to be a good system for tracking this sort of stuff. I know a woman who had been dismissed from every pain management doctor in like a 3 city area because of failed drug tests. I can understand not liking a doctor and choosing another one but at some point there should be a way to know that multiple doctors have decided that this patient is making things up. T…

The doctors in this situation kind of baffle me. I had strep throat from the time I was an infant until I had my tonsils removed at 11. They said I was a carrier and just prescribed me antibiotics when I came in because I couldn't swallow from the swelling in my throat. If just one had suggested taking out my tonsils I would have been spared a childhood full of constant strep and ear infections. Not a single one did until it had been 11 years. Yet these women can take their kid in who has no hea…

The difference is there are also lots of men who have undercuts with long hair on top. Does he refuse them service because they have long hair on top and he might mess it up? It's not really comparable to the cake unless the cake maker says, "I would do this for you if you were a man with the same cake but I can't do it for a woman with this cake." It is comparable to doing the same service on a male, and that kind of hairstyle has been popular for men and women for a while now.

He wasn't asked to touch the bob at all. That's just the style the rest of her hair was in. He was asked only to clean up the undercut, which is running clippers up to a certain point on the head.

My girls' dentist is a wonderful, super funny guy. There are two of them in the office but only one of them is goofy like he is. He definitely picked the right age group. The girls love him.

It seems like not having a license didn't stop him, don't let it stop you. Live your dream!

If he was an unlicensed barber then I guess him not knowing how to shave a head makes sense 😂

Except that went into effect two years ago and the article says that he has been cutting hair "for so many years". Which means he has the original certification, hairdresser III.

That's completely false. A barber's license doesn't say you can only cut men's hair. That's pretty fucking absurd that you would think that. Pretty funny too. There is no special license for cutting women's hair. A barber can cut women's hair, legally, just like they can cut men's hair. This is probably the funniest post I've seen today.

She didn't ask him to cut her hair. She asked him to shave an area in the back. I am not sure why so many of you don't understand that these are two separate things and the only qualification for what she asked him to do is "know how to run clippers over a section of hair". You do not have to know how to cut women's hair, not even a little bit, to do this. It seems like you all want this to be a thing so bad you simply can't understand that there is a difference between cutting someone's hair an…

So what you're saying is he's never had a man with long hair come into his shop to get an undercut? Because that used to be a really big style with men and women alike and it's done the exact same way.

There are. I've done it. In cosmetology school, I cut men's and women's hair. I also have done an undercut. You shave men's heads the exact same way you shave women's heads. You CUT them differently but you do not shave them differently.

Wut. Lmao. You don't need a "magic stamp" to shave a female's head in the same manner you shave a male's. That's absurd. If you can't shave a section of hair on a female, you can't do it on a male. It's that simple. There is no special qualification for shaving female heads 🤣🤣 And your analogy is off. It would make more sense if you said, "a butcher knows how to butcher a female pig but isn't qualified to butcher a male pig" when they're done the same fuckin way.

If you're a barber who isn't qualified to shave a section of hair down to the same length across the whole section, you're not qualified to be a barber at all.

He wasn't asked to cut the bob. He was asked to shave the undercut.

If you can do a fade, you can do an undercut. It's just shaving a section of hair to one length in that whole area. My sister goes to a barber to get her undercut shaved all the time but when she doesn't have the time, I can do it in my kitchen easily. I just can't shave the designs into it.

Good for you! Your opinion means exactly shit to me, maybe a little less, but everyone deserves to have self esteem even people who attack "strangers on the internet".

Who said anything about full time child care? Even when in school most kids need before and after school care if their parents work. Still not less than $100 a month. I'm not going to return your personal attacks because I'm not a cunt 😊

And I'm telling you, you're fucking wrong. The USDA doesn't know anything about it, apparently, because childcare costs way more than that. There are reasons people say it's cheaper to stay home than to pay childcare and that they wouldn't even make enough to cover it. Here's a hint: it's not because childcare is $2000 a year. You're using a source that you think has all the answers but someone who actually lives in America AND has kids is telling you that your numbers are wrong. You can fight t…

Don't be so defensive. It's an honest question. If you live somewhere that childcare is less than $100 a month, share it with the world. Otherwise your numbers are wrong because childcare itself can end up being 2k a year. It is relevant because you used it in your calculation. Don't say you included something and then turn around and say, "Oh that thing I included is irrelevant."

Where can you get daycare for less than $100 a month? There are many, many parents who would like to live there.

I don't understand it either, but I know postpartum depression often plays a roll with women. Psychosis too. I can almost...not really understand the action but the reason, I get. Mental illness is terrible and can make you do terrible things. The women like Susan Smith are the ones I just can't really understand.

If going to jail and having assault on a police officer on your record is getting a pussypass, I guess?

My mom went to jail for hitting a cop once. She was in a fight with another woman and he grabbed her from behind. She thought it was one of the woman's friends and automatically hit him. The cop admitted it was a bad move to come up on her from behind but she still spent the night in jail for it.

You see pictures of very large people in the gym all the time and you can't say it's women posting all of those pictures. They're not posted as, "Way to go, look at them!" They're mocking them. They may not be naked but they're still being body shamed.
