2	The Internal Strengthening of Frame through Martial Arts Start with boxing. You don’t need to jump into something like Muay Thai and learn flying 360 knee-to-the-face moves to defend yourself. Knowing how to throw a punch and duck someone else’s will put you above 95% of the population, and you can become somewhat competent through boxing in a short amount of time. It’s a hell of a workout, you’ll increase your technique very quickly, and it rapidly boosts your confidence. 1	Anyone reinvent their life and career at age 27? They are not impossible to get into, you just need to study your ass off and make sure you stand out from the crowd during your interview. I recently got into one and I'm starting late August. I'm in a similar position to you, and I'm 29, planning to move to a new city and start my life over.
