1	Does every man have to go through a “hoe phase” in order to be confident and secure with themselves? BS. Level of skill and confidence are VERY correlated. If you know your pickup skills suck, OR your results when approaching show that your pickup skills suck, then it's just a matter of time until you start doubting yourself and you suck even more. The reverse is also true, if you don't feel confident but your results are good while approaching, that confidence comes back very quickly. Competence seems to be underrated in most comments here.
