I don't know why people hate this sub, I put forth some ideas as to why. Every time I have seen /r/mensrights mentioned outside of itself, it has been negatively, even by people who aren't feminists or activists, etc. I don't have links because I don't save everything I see in case I might need it someday, but take a look at Randall Munroe's profile. One of his most recent comments is condemning /r/mensrights and /r/theredpill in the same breath. We need to step up our game if that's the kind if…

That's modern, western feminism. At its roots it is about equality. Currently, not so much.

I'm trying to point out that while the statistics are false, a lot of people still hate this sub because...??? To me, it seems like it might be because of straying from the roots of the sub. Maybe it's because of /r/theredpill creep. I'm trying ask if I have to take sides or if I can fight for both "sides" of this battle for equality.

No, I know the statistics are blatantly false. Look how many down votes I have for calling for a better forum for equality. I'm disappointed in how this sub has strayed from its roots.

When did /r/mensrights switch from being about legitimate issues in the legal/political/social systems in America and start being a general outlet for hatred? I've seen tons of negative publicity for it lately from lots of people whose opinions I otherwise respect, and I wonder if there's some better forum I'm not aware of or something. I personally don't consider myself a "MRA" because it's just ending up the same way as feminism, which has become female supremacy in the western world. Are thei…

And in plain English, you die a hero or you die a villain. Unless villains are immortal or something.

Hah, I pretty much just read "feminism" as "female supremacy" now.

Everyone here is talking about freedom of speech...that has nothing to do with this. The group violated the Facebook ToS so it was removed. I'm glad because in the past I have seen evidence they have been misandrist in their group removal (removing female but not male equivalents).

And now we've been downvoted exclusively because we have differing opinions! Before people say otherwise: I'm pretty sure this adds to the discussion

Also, the person who made the image purposefully chose a quite unflattering image of Hilary Clinton. Woo, propaganda!

When reading it, I saw "anymore" and my brain went into sad mode. Then I was confused. Then I was pissed off.
