Thanks for posting this. The idea of intentionally underperforming really bothers me. Yeah, there's a degree of truth to it because of office politics, but it's possible to perform better than coworkers and still get promoted if you just aren't a total asshole about it and still keep your hand in the politics.

I'm pretty disappointed with the overall comments in this thread. I don't see a Men's Rights issue here. Guys, everyone deserves a good, hard fucking. In a healthy marriage, each spouse deserves sexual fulfillment. This guy seems to love his wife enough to try to please her. There is nothing wrong with this.

I think these posters would be more appropriate if they were targeted at stupid teenagers. I can picture a teenager saying stuff like this as an excuse to do what they want. I like to think that people in their late 20's to mid-30's have gotten wiser.

I actually agree with her point that suffering does not occur on a scale and that feminists shouldn't stop fighting when the fight no longer benefits them. I believe that she takes this idea to its logical conclusion, but I would disagree, saying that animals are lesser than us and that they taste good, so it's okay to eat them. Her point about patriarchal superiority is insane, though.

I hate to say it, but I would actually agree with the HR person that this isn't sexual harassment, but is instead an issue of assault. If she was propositioning you for sexual favors, or wanting to take a peek, I would agree with you. But there doesn't seem to be anything sexual about that wench. I don't think this would fall under the legal definition of rape considering that he blatantly chose to just sit there and take it. Perhaps a level of sexual violence? Either way, it shows that a woman can be the aggressor.

I think the concept of "opting out" is stupid and NOT analogous to abortion. Getting an abortion isn't "opting out", it's "killing the child". In this case, there is no child to be a parent to anymore. Once that child is born, the mother and father have a moral and legal obligation to care for it.
