Honestly, in my experience usually when it comes to pay they'll offer to split the bill. If they don't I either ask "let's go halves?" Or if I've had a really good time and she's about to come back to mine then I'll just pay fast so we can leave asap. If someone kicks off at not wanting to split just drop em and don't contact again.
