A teacher from my hs killed himself a few years ago because it had been found out he was using the app to solicit nudes and sexual messages from underage girls who attended the school. Coward left behind a wife and child too.

Do you have her contact info? You can download a texting app and make a fake number.

I had sex with a guy for the first time last week. He didn’t go down on me, I was getting worried because it’s a sexual dealbreaker for me. However, he did go down on me for quite awhile in the morning. Did he say he doesn’t do it or he just didn’t do it that first time?

There's over 80+ strains of HPV. The most current version of Guardasil only protects from 9 of them. Yikes

3 proper dates with a guy, shared our first kiss after the last one. Got a text today saying ""I'm free Tuesday night if you want to chill". Not sure how to best respond to communicate my standards and give him the opportunity to check himself.

Could you elaborate?

Possibly? We're both 25. From what I've gathered from internet snooping (as I have a tendency to do) he was in a 5 year relationship until about a 1 year and some change

We rarely text about anything other than date planning, so I haven't even had an opportunity to enact those strategies lol. It's literally every 4 days he'll either reach out to share something that reminded him of me (and then we have maybe a 4-6 line exchange) or plan a date.

Okay. The last date I made a few flirty jokes/made comments I was thinking about him during our time apart/and even gave a 'thank you' touch & gentle squeeze on the arm when he went to pay, so I felt I was giving some strong signals. Maybe I wasn't tho!

Hmm, physically attracted, hell yes. Emotionally and intellectually not really sure yet, but we haven't really been on that many dates. Some friends I've talked to have said it sounds like shyness/nervousness, but idk.

For real. I had the best galentines last night with my bff. I share with her the ideas and wisdom I've been learning from this sub, which she's embraced wholeheartedly. We celebrated our friendship and leveling up together <3 it was awesome.

Absolutely but barriers are not as effective at preventing HPV as they are for other STIs/STDs because it can easily live on skin not near a mucus membrane.

Well, the same risk is there for men going down on women as well. It's due to HPV, which 80-90% of adults who have sex have or have had. Also, a test for HPV in males doesn't exist. I understand not risking your health for men's pleasure and obviously you don't need to do anything you don't want to do, but men utilize the same argument to avoid going down on women.

I feel like it’s the norm for men on these apps to somehow be always less attractive irl than in their photos. A few weeks ago I had a date with a guy who was actually significantly more attractive than his photos led him on to be and I was literally shook at first meeting because it’s never happened to me yet on OLD.

It’s a derogatory term for vegan/vegetarian men, as they’re often written off as being weak/effeminate. The gender politics around animal product consumption is interesting, although not a conversation meant for this sub. Altho sometimes soyboy gets thrown at leftist/liberal men in general regardless of whether they’re veg.

Anyone know where a girl can find the article "50 tips to find a man who will munch that cookie like his life depends on it and how to kick anyone else who fails to do that the fuck out"...asking for a friend.

Had an IUD appointment scheduled after having a rough time on the pill...(ex)boyfriend offered to give me a ride when I discussed it with him. Three weeks later, a few days before the appt I reminded him of the procedure and he goes "oh...did you still want a ride?". Fastforward night before, we were spending time together. I go to go home and he goes "maybe i'll see you tomorrow?" me: "uh...i'm having a medical procedure tomorrow...", him: "oh yeah. Did you still want a ride?" Day of he did giv…
