I think a majority of men would agree that rape shouldn’t be accepted and we should as a society strive to eradicate it as much as possible. You’re right that in many eastern countries and Africa it’s still prevalent, but in the west the scale has been tipped far to the other end. A guy I work with had something similar happen to him. He was abused pretty severely for nearly 3 years by his now ex-wife. I can’t bring myself to read this stuff anymore. I wish the whole world could at least agree on this one thing: exploiting children will be met with a zero-tolerance policy, and abusers will be punished to the absolute fullest extent of the law. As a civilization of moral people we need to make a firm stand and strive to eradicate this one issue. I know how naive and idealistic I sounds saying this, but it’s just so gut-wrenching and theses stories are just so frequent.

Thanks for proving my point. In all fairness you're right, I never thought I was a MGTOW so I'm not trying to pretend. I started following this subreddit becaus I see this as a response to feminism bullshit. That's why I said I agree with most of the stuff posted here, but now it looks like there isn't even room for small disagreements. It's all or nothing, "back to the plantation you go!" bullshit. I've know women to react this way, not men because it's a completely unreasonable.

I think he means with reference to the current social climate. Toxic feminism, "rape culture", and other social justice warrior bullshit is targeted towards the so-called "patriarchy" and men in general. In an attempt to create equality, a lot of the "progress" these movements have created have resulted in a lot of unfairness towards men, not only in domestic issues, but also in education and careers.
