If the avg IQ is going down, it becomes ever more important to breed at the same or higher IQ. AND, the avg data point on that is likely majority middle class or poor, just by demographic categories. If you're a big fish in a small pond (within your tier of IQ), you likely don't desire to breed with everyone equally. Late stage capitalism might just be another step towards more royal/wealthy bloodlines. Women taking their place in independence and high wages would speed this process of genetic vetting up.
