Testosterone is highest during abstinence the source I linked isn't the greatest; I believe the actual testosterone peak is achieved after ~7 days of abstinence but you get the gist and it's supported by other studies. The calendar reminds you of such things And other people do as well. As humans we store information in each other. If you're good at something inherently handy you'll find people in your constant environment begin to drop in proficiency and memory at it; they naturally rely on you to keep up that end of knowledge.
