I honestly think this is mostly because liberal/left leaning men tend to be more socially adept and have larger friend groups. At least in my experience many more right leaning people tend to not go out as much and keep more to themselves

Does she then deserve the same thing since she is guarded as well? You are assuming bad intent, where it might be a situation of 2 people are afraid of getting hurt, but actually love each other.

I wouldn't text it, I would say it face to face at the next date and gauge her reaction. It might not be saying much, but it's saying more than I have the past 3 months, and I want see where it lands. I am prepared to pull way back if it fails.

I agree with you, but in this case it's not obvious that she cares less. I am not saying whether or not this is the case here, but there definitely times where the woman is also afraid of being rejected or looking dumb, and thus will hold back, sometimes people forget women are people too. It's definitely possible too though that I am completely wrong, I just feel at some point I have to figure out where she stands. It wouldn't appear a bit weak given that it's right before her trip? Though I suppose it would also be a bit insulting if she brought up exclusivity right after her trip. I feel quite conflicted
