Not listening/reading to learn but doing so just to respond. Choosing to approach furious vs curious. Literally putting words in my mouth which is dismissive behavior. Edited so I could respond: “I'm just stating facts you're the one who said it's looks good to ne so there's must be no problem with it?” Huh? I’ve made it clear I found this was already good advice above. That’s why y’all jumped on me. What exactly are you trying to say? Edit to comment: Yep. I’m not in the least bit surprised eit…

Nope. Women can be snowflakes too. Especially when it comes to other women. You’re just putting words in my mouth now trying to paint me into someone that you can accuse of victimizing you. Edit to comment: “I'm not putting words in your mouth, I'm just justifying how dumb your argument sounds.” …by telling me things I blatantly never stated? By projecting your own assumptions onto me as my own when it’s the furthest from my own truth? Wow bud. Yep. You schooled me hard /s

Yes. But in the process you learn that many of the communication generalizations are true and often shaped by society. Maybe if this post was instead talking about what we as men can do to alter these generalizations - to rise above it and take ownership for our part - it would be very different. But that’s not what’s happening. It’s just pissing everyone off without accepting that are aspects in it that are indeed true even if generalized. No one is offering solutions. 👍

False. It’s a shame, too, because you would likely benefit from some of this advice just based in how you’ve interacted with me.

You people? I’m not the snowflake triggered by some AI here. Lol

Go touch some grass bud. Y’all are just grasping to be a victim here. If you’ve ever been in couples therapy or taken psych classes you would know that generally speaking men and women communicate differently. Some of that is shaped biologically and some of that is shaped societally. And there are always exceptions. This just isn’t worth getting bent out of shape over. No men’s rights are under attack.

Because it’s a trait that is likely more common for men to struggle with and not women. But I never said there aren’t any exceptions. If you’ve ever been in couples therapy, you’d realize there are diametrical overall differences in how men and women communicate. It’s like y’all are stretching to find ways to be victimized here. Why not try the advice given. See what it’ll do for you.

No. I don’t. As I stated, it’s solid advice in both columns. I really don’t see the problem here. Do you practice any of the advice given here? Maybe it’ll work for you. Give it a try.

No. I don’t think you would actually. It’s solid advice for anyone. But why is there any yelling to start with?

Which is real. 🤷‍♂️

I’d love for you to show me how I used it as an insult when I’m only spitting facts.

I’ve never ever seen it as an insult. Unless you take being called out for cis privilege as an insult. If that’s the case; that’s a you problem you need to unpack. The trans community receives above and beyond far more attacks and chipping away at freedoms and rights than cis folks ever do. Your argument is a very thin one. Translucent even.

Umm. I’m guessing it’s something you’ve likely never tried, too. Interrupting is rude and doesn’t show thoughtfulness nor commitment to listen. Not showing empathy nor understanding is also not a solution. How in the hell is this even biased? It’s just Frank advice.

It’s a fact that its roots are in science long before it became a hot topic to debate. Y’all are getting bent out of shape over science. It’s like me telling you what comes out of my lungs isn’t carbon dioxide. It’s breath. None of this has anything to do with men’s rights either.

The first I ever heard it was scientific. I don’t even know why that’s something to argue when it’s fact.
/r/MensRights14/04/23 09:22 PM

It’s based on science, adopted for society. Started as a scientific term.

You need to also talk about socio and economic factors that impede women. How many young girls grew up with an interest in traditionally viewed ‘boy’ things such as chess and were told to learn some cheers or baking instead? Or how often women are told they are not intelligent or worth it, etc. I just don’t think it’s as clear cut as you may think.

Sounds like great advice in both columns actually

I’ve heard cis-privilege being called out as it should. I’ve never once seen it used negatively unless someone perceives their own privileges being called out as a slur. If that’s the case, that’s on the individual to unpack. It’s the same as calling out white privilege. White isn’t a slur either.

This post feels like you’re trying to compete with the suffering women claim though. In essence, you’re doing the exact thing you’re complaining about.

I’ve never seen it used as a slur. I’ve seen people call out cis-privilege which is real. But I’ve never seen it used as an insult.

It's common for people to confuse sex, gender, and gender identity. But they're actually all different things. Sex is a label — male or female — that you're assigned by a doctor at birth based on the genitals you're born with and the chromosomes you have. It goes on your birth certificate.

Lmao yes it is. You observe what one was assigned. Male, female, intersex. Gender develops later as that individual discovers who they are. You’re the one that’s wrong, bucko.

Lol well I never said gender was assigned at birth did I? Sex is assigned at birth. If your gender aligns with sex assigned at birth, then you’re scientifically cisgender.
/r/MensRights14/04/23 05:54 PM

Cisgender has nothing directly to do with sexual characteristics though. It’s purely a scientific term that means one’s gender aligns with the sex they were assigned with at birth.

Find better and healthier women to date is what I would say. They’re out there looking for men like you. Love yourself better to not be with these same women. Go for the women you typically would overlook for any number of reasons. Just stay out of toxic relationships and seek regular therapy to talk through choices. Resources are there. Just take the steps that are needed.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
