It really depends on your situation and you. What I mean is no matter how good or bad a counselor is the only person that can effect change is you. The only exception that I know of is where someone suffers from clinical depression caused by an imbalance in their brain chemistry which can occur and is treated successfully with short term medication, emphasis on short term. The process of talking to anyone is the process of review your circumstances and attempting to see a way in which you can ch…

Thanks for the reply. Take your time thinking about what you really enjoy about your current work and then look at how you might be able replicate that either in a new company or even working for yourself.

Do not go to your boss unless you know he is completely red pilled. As the higher ups have already decided what is going to happen. When stupid decision like this are made its time to dust off your resume and look at your options. Remember a business owes you nothing other than the money for your work that you agreed in contract. YOU own them nothing other than decent work for the pay they give you. The minute they push you beyond what you are prepared to give that is outside of what they pay yo…

Find a passion. What I mean is to find something that you find interesting, that always wants you to know more. That could be in the sciences or using your hands to make things. Think about what you enjoy doing and then think about how you might do that as a job. Then find out what skills you need to do that job and whether you would be any good at it. In my life I have had 3 careers, first in factory management accounting in the pottery industry, then in International pensions management and no…

Trades is best its an area where you will hardly find any women and good trades people are always in demand. Hell in New Zealand we are short of 18,000 trades people and we only have a population of 4 million!! My sister is trying to get a home built and can't because the building firms are quoting up to 2 years before they can take on the contract! All the trades are busy working commercial builds atm.

A simple fact, other people do not make you grow as a person. They will only make you grow because of the situation they may put you in. So if you get a girlfriend then you may grow because of all the shit tests and drama she will put you through. Difficulties in life in general will make you grow. Its why Jordan Peterson tells people to take on responsibilities as it forces you into difficult situations that make you grow as a person.

Hell I worked in the UK pension industry back in the late 90's and early 2000's in the city and was paid between $2000 to $3000 for a technical report on what a person should do with their pension scheme and how to save a lot of money via the tax system. The number of people that would ignore advice was amazing. these were seriously wealthy and clever people with lots of money that that could end up saving a load of tax that used to give complete bullshit reason for not doing it. Did not bother …

I am 50 and have had periods of depression due to medical health problems. Happiness is never a goal it is an outcome. Your goal/objective/purpose is something that that can lead to possible happiness, but not always. The one thing Jordan Peterson is right about is to focus on what you can change. So be aware of your environment. If you live in an untidy environment see if tiding it a bit helps your outlook. If it does do more of it. Most depression (clinical chemical depression excluded) are ca…

Do not make any offer other than the one you have already made as you are now locked in to that offer. But I suggest that you place a deadline on her accepting your offer with the alternative being that you tell her to go to the Small Claims Court. Also if you are not working the Court could decide that she only receives a small amourt per week dependant on your income. Direct quote from UK Judge "Judge Stephen Gold, a district judge at Kingston-Upon-Thames County Court, says: Just because it is…

I am going to assume that you are in the UK as you have mentioned the Small claims court. For you to owe any money in a small claims court the court has to believe that a contract was formed between you. This does not have to be in writing but usually the expense must be for a defined item. Also proof is required by the court. Therefore credit card bills or bank statements showing expenditure are required to be submitted. There are also fees for the person making the claim, see https://www.gov.u…

I can understand how you feel as even now as I come to my half century of life I don't have it all sorted. Truthfully you are going through one of the hardest periods of your life as you change from a child into a man. As a child you generally do as your parents want but as you become older you have to make your own decisions and live with the consequences. Just a few tips and ideas, first most importantly don't stress it too much your young and will make mistakes. That is perfectly normal so go…

There is a lot material out there, find a topic that interests you and work very hard. Every person can do it but it requires disciple and motivation. You are the only person that can give you the motivation and with that motivation will come the hard work and eventually it becomes a habit after 120 days. My story is after 8 years of opioid addiction for chronic back pain I decided enough was enough. Managed to get out of addiction and get into some work via volunteering. This got me better and …

Thank you for you post. There are some very wise words here. Mainly around forgiving YOURSELF so you can move on. Hate will always bend you out of shape and will make life difficult. When someone betrays you I believe they also destroy a part of themselves. The part that has a sense of balance and what is right. I have also had to follow a similar path as yourself, although mine was over abusive parents. The weight that comes off your shoulders when you finally forgive them and YOURSELF is truly…

Don't forget to take your shoes off when entering a home/temple/bath house. Its fairly obvious as there will be slippers available to use. If there are no slippers use bare feet but keep your socks on.

Immediately back up all phone texts, social media posts and any other material you have. Make sure you have printed copies. Put them in a folder with a well thought out statement of what you would say if talking to your solicitor. Then take the folder put it safely in a draw and try to forget about it. Focus solely on yourself, improving yourself, your wealth and happiness. Move On. If you should ever need to face anything from the police or a solicitor you have your folder locked away to help. …

There are a number of website that give good advice on this. The only problem it seems with US is its illegal. Dumb really. Best really to go where it is legal, like Thailand, Philippines, Bahamas, Australia or New Zealand. You also get a great holiday as well. Always do your research before this and remember you will get a better service by keeping clean before you meet. If you have never used an escort the slightly older ones are usually better at making your first visit easier and be honest i…
