Just because some people choose it, doesn't mean you can't. It's not hidden away in some shitty company, even the crappiest 401k plan has multiple fund options that you can choose from. Not true, you can move in and out of investments daily. It doesn't cost 1-3 k to set up. It does however have costs, so does your bitcoin trading, I assume. Not true. That's just one of 3 options under 72t. I have no idea what other conspiracy nonsense you're spouting about dark patterns in the rest of 4 though. …

I've already corrected you in a prior response but you ignored it. You show a stunning lack of knowledge about the subject. Some facts: 1.A 401k is not an investment, it's a tax deferred account 2. You are not locked into any investment in a 401k so the rich can't, as you claim, get out before you. You can sell Facebook shares (assuming your plan offers brokerage) and move the proceeds immediately into other investments, including cash, as you see fit. 3. The limitations you confuse are restrict…

So if you're worried about a market crash, invest your 401k in short term treasury bonds. If those go to worthless we're living in mad max times and every investment except guns and ammo is worthless too. The fact remains, if you're in a higher tax bracket a 401k is a good idea. If you get a company match it's an even better deal. Either pay a shitload of tax now without a 401k, or pay less tax later with it (if you structure it correctly).

Everyone in a 401k, rich or poor, has the same penalties to early withdrawal. It's a type of account, not an investment. If certain investments are ponzi schemes that are tilted toward the rich you should avoid those in your 401k account or anywhere else. But an actual 401k is one of the few breaks the gynocratic feds give to middle/upper middle class single taxpayers, they should grab it and milk the system for all it's worth.

IMHO, awful advice. How are you enjoying paying that 10% penalty plus ordinary income tax on your lump sum distribution this year? I'll fix your advice in the last paragraph of your post- 1. Live cheap, 2.max out your 401k to the extent it knocks you down to 12% marginal bracket, if you're already in 12% or or lower bracket just do enough to get any applicable company match. 3.Also invest in property and other diversified investments. 4. Retire early, do a 72t election (look it up not enough spa…

True story from my simp days. Take my girlfriend on a beach vacation. I pay for both of us- flight, rental car, hotel, everything. She sees a cheap souvenir t shirt she wants and I say get it if you want but I don't want it. She doesn't have cash but says if I buy the shirt for her she'll pay for lunch. I agree and pay 12 bucks for the piece of shit shirt. Lunch ends up being 30 for both of us so she demands 3 back. I'm initially amused and point out that A) the deal was not for lunch up to $12 …

Men on a per capita basis get in more wrecks and wrecks that cost more. Whether that's due to more miles driven, testosterone causing more risk taking behavior or some other reason, it just is. Insurance charges more as a result. And I'm fine with that, because the whole point of insurance is to spread the risk over policy holders with similar risk profiles. On the other hand, an average woman's health insurance is a shitload more expensive than an average man of the same age. But charging them …

You re right that those little pieces of intimacy are great, so great that I might still be on the plantation if my ex continued with the small gestures, even with all the other bullshit that came with her. Just know that it's going to stop eventually and usually within a few months of locking you down. Giving selflessly to you in order to show appreciation is just not in the AWALT playbook, even if it's something small that takes little effort. Knowing it's just an illusory temporary state help…

Just a few years behind you. Like I said, the same exact experience. There's no excuse for youth not to know what's up these days with everything being easily available. My teenage son and his friends are already pretty red pilled just from that exposure.

Same exact experience for me. The first few weeks were like a drug high you desperately wanted again after it inevitably disappeared. And you'd do some really embarrassing blue pill shit in search of that high. I think going mgtow is sort of like doing your own PA (pussaholics anonymous) program. No official 12 steps but if we followed the AA model step 1 would be we admitted we were powerless over pussy and that our lives had become unmanageable. Sounds about right.

Women and retirement got me thinking about the fact that women live 7 years longer than men therefore the average woman collects 84 months more in social security benefits than the average man. Now can you imagine if the situation were reversed and men lived longer? Any doubt that the age at which you could collect full benefits would be increased for men to compensate?

She claimed she was doing it to pay for her brother's medical bills. Anyone believe that? They just can't accept a shred of personal responsibility. Sure, I was scamming but it was for a good reason, I'm still a good person. Hamster spins faster and faster.

Without going into specifics, I too offered my ex (also a massive alcoholic like your friend's ex) a deal that would be far better than she'd get in litigation. Something like a 60/40 split that I was willing to do just to get the shit over with cleanly and get on with my life. She of course refused thinking she was entitled to more. 18 months later I finally get officially divorced and she gets about 75,000 less than my offer, plus whatever legal fees she had to pay. So, in summary, hamster is …

They won't call it that but raise the tax rates for single filers while simultaneously making much lower rates for married jointly or give huge child tax credits and you effectively have the same thing. Of course that would hit single women too so it wouldn't be popular with the gynocracy. No way making it apply only to men would be constitutional under US law, at least under the makeup of the current Supreme Court for the next couple of decades. Get a few more ginsburgs on the court and all bet…

If a nawalt exists, and that's a huge if, she married some blue pill simp in her late teens or early 20s and is now quietly raising his kids out of sight. That guy won the lottery and has no idea why his married friends are all miserable. Point is, if you're over 25, there is zero chance of finding one because 1) she's not going to go after older men because she doesn't care about the things that make older men attractive (money, security, etc), and 2) she's not going to monkey branch to you bec…

This can't be real. It's so hard to tell satire from reality these days. If it's real it's a genius move by conservatives since any soy that would follow this was going to vote gynocentric anyway. It's losing them votes.

The petty response id " no, I don't do that." Of course she'll never remember that's what she told you. But I'd recommend just ignore. Not worth your time to even be petty.

I've said this in another thread but if you think you've found a unicorn it's almost certain you've found someone on the cluster B spectrum. They're masters at mirroring and reading what you want. Give it 6 months or at most a year and that mask will slip though. Just don't get too attached to them during that time and do something stupid like marry them (ask me how I know this).

I'm gonna guess it's because most are straight and don't like dick (nothing against those that do). And we feel no need to have sex with someone we're not attracted to in order to make a political statement because we're not selecting partners in order to seek attention and validation. But that's just me.

Was it her choice to split? If not, this is a classic case of a chick terrified of being alone and just grabbing on to the first branch available. She'll resume her branching upward soon enough.

In the US there is actually a marriage tax in certain situations due to the way the brackets are structured. If both parties work and make roughly the same high income then they pay more filing jointly than single. In most cases however, the person filing single pays more than the one filing married.

My totally wild ass guess totally unsupported by any scientific study is men in general handle stress better. Less cortisone release, less stress eating etc as a result of the stress from the longer hours.

Keep it simple so you can live your live and not spend 5 hours a week researching and stressing. I highly recommend index funds. I use vanguard but any really low cost fund will do- fidelity, Schwab, etc, just look for something with fees at .05% or less. Set it up to withdraw x% from your paycheck and then ignore it. If the market craters just keep buying in the same amounts and don't even look at your statements- you should actually be happy because now you're getting stocks on sale and in 10 …

I just bought my first bike 3 weeks ago. I got a 2009 suzuki boulevard s40. It's got 650 cc so enough power that I can get up to a decent speed on the highway but not so much I'll kill myself if I make a mistake. It's light enough at 380 pounds so a newbie like me can handle it and it was cheap (2000 out the door price) so I can easily flip it and not lose much when I decide to upgrade to my big boy bike. I'm sure there are a bunch of similar bikes out there with similar characteristics, just gr…

Damn limey! Meruca, fuck yeah! Just kidding, I love the brits, solid folks that never fail to amuse me (in a good way). As an aside, last time I was at Trafalgar square I noticed a statue of George Washington. WTF? I mean I know we're friends and all now but I just can't see how you put up a statue of former citizen that led an armed revolt against you. I assume we offered it and you guys, being British, didn't want to seem rude by refusing the gift.

The fact you posted this on this site tells me you know the answer. Just hike up your balls and do it. I'm in my late 40s and I did the same as you as a young man- stayed in shitty relationships because I was a simp and was afraid I'd never get pussy again. Those wasted years in the prime of my youth are among my biggest regrets.

Stronglifts 5×5 Is a good one to start with. Stick with compound exercises that work multiple groups. Start really light so you can practice good form, you'll get to the challenging weights quickly enough. Good luck. It really will change your life if you stick with it.

I agree on not bothering to redpill adults, but not on my own kid. To do otherwise would be parental neglect, kind of like not warning him to avoid touching the hot stove. Now if he continues burning his hand as a young adult, I'm just going to have to step aside, but at least I tried.

With teenage hormones, I'd rather him be the carousel than a simp. I just don't think it's reasonable to ask any teenage male to mgtow, I know I couldn't have done it. As long as he makes it to 30 unscathed he'll have a fighting chance to go mgtow.

The super short version- married, dead bedroom, she slept with Chad (literally his name was Chad, which is actually funny to me now), took her back for the sake of the kids, she crawled deeper into the bottle, I finally found an ounce of pride and left. I bet 80% of the posters here over 30 have a similar story.

No need to start with the massive souped up Harleys, you can get a perfectly decent sized (650 cc or so) cruiser used for under 2,000. Get one of those, practice a bit, see if you like it, and after a few years of mgtow and a decent job you'll be paying cash for a badass bike you can proudly post on here about.
