1	Gender gap in UK degree subjects doubles in eight years, UCAS (UK'S national uni application system) study finds. This gap is GROWING and measures (some currently passing) to address gender discrepancies in courses are ONLY focusing on the very very few subjects that women are in fewer numbers in Unfortunately male skills tend to be spatial/mechanical and Female skills verbal/memory. Its verbal/memory skills that you need to do well at school add to the fact that the female brain reaches adolescent maturity at age 12 and male brain not until age 15 most boys have already been written off even before their brain has matured. 5	In the UK, girls were helped more than boys by calculated gradings for A-levels this year Boys score higher than girls on Math SAT tests taken at age 15 in America and boys score higher on math PISA tests in 99% of countries yet are given worse grades than girls. 1	CNN opinion article-written by female doctor- claims that women make better doctors. So men like Edward jenner, Sir Ronald Ross and alexander Fleming pioneer vaccines, penicillin and ways to fight malaria and virtually every other medical breakthrough was pioneered by men but women are better doctors?
