In your early teens and twenties you do date guys who don't have jobs or still live with their parents. It's one of the reasons guys think getting with younger girls is easier. They're more impressed by basic adult shit like cleaning up after yourself and having a car. My first boyfriend was 24 (I was 20) and lived with his mom. Which wasn't a red flag to me because I was like, 19 going on twenty. But other 24 year olds would see him as the loser he was. Which he was a loser.

Being open gets you literally NO WHERE when I was 21 on dating apps I should've rejected a lot more men just for the way they acted/beliefs.

You can literally only know if something is a fit for your life if you've experienced it.

I'm legitimately autistic though so I can't tell when my standards are too high or if I'm being unreasonable

Like I thought a guy I went on a date with having a "thing for braces" /vtuber figurines was weird but if I came asking for advice on it I would've been told it's just an kink and hobbies are okay to have. Doesn't mean anything.

Yeah but when you're ruthless with standards people get pissy and women are told their entire lives to not be uptight, prudish and give a "honest guy a chance" over an honest mistake

But at the same time women are told to stop having such uptight standards for guys and that people make mistakes.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
