As someone who is trans and has suffered with body disphoria it doesn't just pop up as an adult. Kids get it too and making laws against allowing kids to transition and forcing them to go through a puberty they do not want is evil. This is not up for debate. Blocking kids from medically transitioning is cruel. It needs to be child abuse for parents to deny care to their kids. This dad should never be allowed to have unsupervised time with his daughter.

My guess is he is also a shitty dad who doesn't care about his daughter any more than spreading far right talking points.

I support giving trans boys estrogen blockers to stop them from growing boobs too that way they can take T and have a male puberty too. Its not about being anti-men. It's about letting people be who they are comfortable being.

Good thing is kids usually only get the puberty blockers which are reversable. So they aren't perminant chances!

I mean, he wouldn't be wrong. Puberty blockers, and estrogen do chemically castrate you.

That's probably what the father is calling the puberty-blockers.

Those things are dangerous, transitioning is not. In fact transitioning is incredibly helpful towards their mental health. Mental health improves dramatically after transitioning and suicide rates plummet.

People have been trans for all of history. There was a trans roman emperor. It's not a new thing or something you're groomed into. Gender dysphoria sucks, you can't be groomed into having it. Trans people also just don't spring into existence as adults, thus kids are naturally trans.

I'm in my 30s now, I knew I wanted to be a girl as far back as I have memories at around 3-4. I was basically told no, grew up feeling like that wasn't an option till I was an adult and realized that's what being trans was and it was possible. So while some kids grow out of it, and if they just say it a few times it might not be that they are trans, if its constant feelings for an extended time (years) then studies show that they probably are actually trans.

Trans woman here, if the kid is trans I'm 100% behind the mother. If the kid is not trans then I'm 100% against the mother. Gender dysphoria sucks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
