I’m at a point where I can buy and live in a beautiful house or have a mediocre house and wife will probably leave me without having neither in the end. The choice is clear. That's good. Just keeping being you. Drive all the cars and trucks you want. Don't let anyone (especially a nagging wife or girlfriend) tell you what you can or can't drive. | /r/MGTOW | 27/02/18 08:42 PM
I’m at a point where I can buy and live in a beautiful house or have a mediocre house and wife will probably leave me without having neither in the end. The choice is clear. You like your Explorer? I just traded my 2000 Mercury Mountaineer V8 (the Mercury variant of the Explorer) for a Honda Civic. The transmission crapped out; lost the reverse gear. I didn't want to pay for a rebuild or remanufactured transmission so I decided to get a base model Civic. Really all I need is something to get to work and back reliably. | /r/MGTOW | 27/02/18 08:24 PM
tumblr summarizedThis is just my theory, but I think I know why entitled fat girls are the way they are. You see, fat girls might not be attractive (at least to the general male population. There's always outliers.) but they are an easy fuck. Why not right? If you're a desperate and horny guy that just wants to fuck anyone they'll go for the fat girl, bust a nut and move on. The fat girl now starts to think that because they're getting random fuck buddies that they're suddenly hot shit. So now she gets this sens… | /r/MGTOW | 21/11/17 04:07 AM
My Five Step Plan for Young MGTOW.Many of us in the business don't live in the city, and those that do live in the city live in the outer boroughs, like Brooklyn and Queens, at least in the more middle class and working class neighborhoods. Most of us live in the suburbs, be it Long Island, upstate New York, or across the Hudson in New Jersey. In my case I actually live in NJ and take the bus into the city. It's just cheaper to do that than rent an apartment in Manhattan or the gentrified parts of Brooklyn. | /r/MGTOW | 05/11/17 10:49 PM
My Five Step Plan for Young MGTOW.Yes and no. What's going here in NYC is union contractors still have a strong hold on the commercial market (office buildings, high rises, etc) and pretty much a monopoly on transit jobs and other high scale jobs, like airports and water treatment plants. We don't have nearly as much work in the residential market because developers want cheaper labor and quick turnarounds so they can sell as high as possible. It's kind of unfortunate to see the unions lose out on such a massive market. That bei… | /r/MGTOW | 05/11/17 07:10 PM
My Five Step Plan for Young MGTOW.I know for some people/unions their pensions are in trouble, but for us we're supposedly doing fine. My union is a private union. It's for electricians in private companies. Our pension is funded by a multi-employer plan and according to our union it's 85% funded, which they say is pretty good. The pension is small, but in retirement any money coming in is good. Plus we still have a 401K, SS, and credit union money stowed away (if you chose to start a fund with the credit union). | /r/MGTOW | 05/11/17 05:41 PM
My Five Step Plan for Young MGTOW.Already working on this. I'm 22 years old and currently in an apprenticeship; I'm working as an apprentice electrician in NYC. It's a great union job with decent pay for apprentices (and the journeyman's rate is fantastic) and I have health insurance (that I don't plan on sharing with a wife ever). Also I have a pension plan setup and a 401K. As of now I'm putting away 20% of my salary into my 401K so I can retire as soon as I'm eligible and have a good nest egg to turn to. Relationships and mar… | /r/MGTOW | 05/11/17 05:13 PM
Another friend falls to a single momAgreed. I don't want to get married or have kids but if I did, I don't think I could look at "my kid" and truly see it as mine. Plus the burden of it all. Basically what the mom is saying is "I got knocked up by a lowlife Chad who doesn't have his shit together but I need a beta man to pay for us, house us and provide for me and this bastard child." | /r/MGTOW | 29/10/17 08:39 PM
MGTOW: A Great Example of How It Can WorkYep. A 40 hour week. The $110/hr refers to our overall package though, so it's our salary+healthcare+pension contribution+401K matching. In terms of salary, just go $56/hr times 40 hours over the course of a year. | /r/MGTOW | 26/10/17 10:44 AM
MGTOW: A Great Example of How It Can WorkRight now the rate for journeymen is $56/hr, and that's not including benefits like healthcare, pension(s), 401K, and an HRA fund. With everything put together, a journeyman makes $110/hr Foreman and supervision make more obviously but I don't know the exact numbers. Edit: forgot to mention this is the union rate. Non-union contractors will have different rates and benefits packages. | /r/MGTOW | 26/10/17 01:10 AM
I hereby sacrifice my reddit accountSo basically you're Drew Carey? The points don't matter? | /r/MGTOW | 26/10/17 12:47 AM
MGTOW: A Great Example of How It Can WorkThat's correct! Local 3; the best and brightest electricians of NYC (no pun intended). You know some day when I get my journeyman's card I want to travel a bit and work in other states/cities. Texas is definitely on one of my places to visit and work in. | /r/MGTOW | 25/10/17 07:37 PM
MGTOW: A Great Example of How It Can WorkThanks man. And yes I am union. I'm a proud member of the IBEW and plan on taking full advantage of my apprenticeship, in terms of work opportunities, classes, training, etc | /r/MGTOW | 25/10/17 02:49 PM
I went to a large university party last night. This is an observation I made. Will do. Idk when the next time I'll be in New Brunswick though but I'll keep you posted | /r/MGTOW | 23/01/17 03:09 AM
I went to a large university party last night. This is an observation I made.Yep. New Brunswick. That's the main campus and as you'd expect the party campus everyone wants to go to. | /r/MGTOW | 23/01/17 03:04 AM
I went to a large university party last night. This is an observation I made. There wasn't really a uniformity as far as men's clothes were. Some wore sweatpants and a Rutgers sweatshirt. Some wore a t-shirt and jeans. Some wore flannels and jeans (blue and black). It was basically any X amount of combinations of clothes worn by the male party guests. | /r/MGTOW | 22/01/17 10:56 PM
MGTOW: As Seen From a 21 Year Old GuyGood eye. Plus here in New York, everyone knows a Tony, a Vinny, or a Tommy. | /r/MGTOW | 25/07/16 01:39 PM
