There's something she's not telling you behind the scenes. Maybe a bad situation with the father, etc... If she truly stood you up she wouldn't have responded at all.

Movin a bit quick... I always play it by ear and never go in with a game plan. But it seems like it's your first date or so, so you'll learn through experience how comfortable a girl is with you. There's so many small things to notice. I do small things depending on the comfort, like grab their knee when I drive. If they move it, then they're not into you yet. There's a lot of tricks I do to see if she's ready for the K close, but I never expect them, they just happen.
