It's why I won't try Tinder either because it freaks me out lol

I can't exactly empathize with the people who enjoy being approached, because I've never been approached by someone not selling something and I don't have the ability to try be interesting even if I was approached. Therefore, it makes it tremendously difficult to do something with others that I've barely experienced myself.

Oh okay. BTW what's the source for your claim that porn reduces grey matter? Never heard that before.

I feel massively inferior whenever I go to New York. So many tall, attractive, successful super-people. I'm not sure if that's your problem, but I understand the approach anxiety in that place. I feel more comfortable talking to people in specific locations that align with my interests, like art galleries or museums. At least you're on common ground and have something to discuss.

Gym newbie here. How do you group those exercises and perform them over a week? Do you do them all each session?

I need to get the fuck out of my town. Tinder is pretty much my only option for someone like me, but I know it's going to destroy me mentally :(

This might be realistic for someone with an already excellent lifestyle. For anyone else, they'd be doomed to fail.

The best date I've ever been on was at a bar-arcade. Neither of us were good, but it was a blast going from machine to machine, being fighting game rivals, and just fucking around. I chose to go there because I had been meaning to for months, because I thought it was interesting. It's hard to be boring when you're having fun :)

I never wanted to try to convince people that they are helpless to fight against what I proclaimed is biology, nor do I believe I am qualified to absolutely dictate what is biology. OP sounded distressed, and I simply wanted to relay what I've seen and experienced in order to show that perhaps these women weren't as malicious as the tone of the post seemed to suggest. My wording was a bit cold and I acknowledge that not all women are sniveling and stingy, and not all men are predatory and calcul…

Here's Jordan Peterson, a guy who's read plenty of peer reviewed studies. And here's a Psychology Today article referencing numerous studies on emotional differences between men and women across cultures. I'm speaking in generalities based on common experience, as most people do here. I have never seen someone been asked for peer reviewed studies to be included here before, unless that's a new policy.

You'll be okay. I think you are a little hard on yourself, as we all are. Declining a kiss for the second time is certainly frustrating, and likely a "gg, go next" situation.

With the last girl when I was sorta dating her, I was going out every weekend to downtown, I was on Tinder and Bumble. I was trying to meet other women and not having any luck. I also told her about my dating problems for some reason. Unfortunately by that time my neediness and always being available had turned her off I was locked in the friendzone. Maybe it wasn't your neediness and being available, but your apparent disinterest and venting about other women. What I mean to say, is if there is…

Are these women looking for relationships? What is their status in all of this? I feel like a few months is enough time for a woman to decide if someone should be their SO.

The "blackpill" here is that the odds are what you make it. You can ebb and flow through life and be happy for even a glimpse of female affection, if you have the means to attract it. Or, you could play outside the expectations of society, risking your ego, and come out successful. For some, this is harder to swallow than what blackpill ideology usually states. Did I understand correctly? I'd trust a religious inceltears poster would know.

You already hesitated and you're in your head, so recognize that it makes things way harder now. Try not to do that next time. You are on vacation, so it should be easy to think of fun things to do. Right now, you can just approach her as genuinely as you can and see if she'd be interested in joining you or if she can meet up later. And if she's not receptive, you can continue having fun on your own or with family/friends. It's all okay, don't expect too much from yourself!
/r/seduction05/01/19 02:48 AM

Well take it from me, a guy who posted here literally right after you asking for advice on neediness, that men feel the same way or worse. If for any reason you aren't receptive to the men crushing on you, they'll assume you're not interested or that they're coming on too strong. You wont be judged for reciprocating interest. If there are people in your life who will judge you, date outside that social circle.

Maybe if your friend sleeps with these girls... they are somewhat fond of each other and like to talk as well? Like I don't get it, you obviously don't blow up someone's phone when you barely know them. But what Alpha-Omega super seducer said texting "girls" in general is repulsive?

Whiskey dick is NOT A JOKE. It did not take much for me. You can salvage the night if the girl is cool and you make up for it, but man, it was a really bad feeling. Part of being comfortable with alcohol is understanding your limits, so please find those out before getting in the hot seat.

For example, if a girl asks me a question like "why do you want to meet up" or somesuch, I ask myself whether I should just be a normal person and write 'you seemed interesting so I'd like to see you again, quite simple really' (the usual response to this is 'oh thats nice to hear' or a viariation of that - already her signing me off as just another chode giving her validation?) or do the cocky/funny PUA approach (because according to various resources you should never directly answer a women's …

I have not read models yet, but this advice here is simply about keeping a good frame, no? Instead of hoping a particular girl can give you sex, you have already determined that you are worthy of a girl's intimate attention, and you are just choosing who that may be. If it doesn't work out, you don't lose anything because you are still worthy and someone else of your choosing can benefit from being around you.

Sorry, I was being dramatic. Basically I have the most anxiety when I'm confronted with people, usually friends, who have elevated and improved themselves more than I have, when previously we were both on the same page in life. Thinking about high school or seeing anyone from there usually floods my head with anxiety about how other kid's lives compare to mine.

Congratulations! 👏 I'm the same age and had my first set of romantic experiences a couple weeks back as well (although my v-card is still intact, but hopefully not for long). The circumstances were very similar, I wasn't even concerned about what she thought because I was just having so much fun and being myself. I realize now it doesn't even take game to get with someone, but the fundamentals of attraction are as basic as self confidence and respect.

In 9th grade, a girl I was in a short lived band with told me I looked like a rapist. She was pretty and ambitious, so I might have internalized that those women think of me that way. It's something I didn't think much of at the time, but the memory is vivid and it fits the context of how I thought of myself in high school. That's just one example, too. I'm sorry for that experience, OP. Nothing I can say will really help. Just don't neglect your emotional well-being and see a counsellor if you …

You're right. I guess it's more like "dating wisdom". If I could be a hypocrite for a second, it looks like your bad attitude may be holding you back as much, or more, than your autism. I can't even tell you have autism while conversing over text, but what's obvious is your defeatist, bleak outlook and rationalizations, like stating for a fact that an attractive woman would never be interested in you. That shit is unattractive. Why not improve yourself so you're only being gimped in one way inst…

While that sounds simple enough, is there a way to tell that I am spending too much mental energy on women instead of the event at hand? Going to do something fun, consciously aware of my desire to meet women, but pushing it aside grows the thought until I'm forced to acknowledge it. Then I get judgmental about myself and others. Thanks for the reply!

I don't think this is true. Being a lurker on this sub for a long time, it's been proven to me that leagues don't really exist. While I do express my share of spite and envy, it's not directed at the women just living their lives and having fun. Because I know in my head that if I want to get with them, I need to be part of the fun. What I felt last night, and what I couldn't quite express very well, was that the prospects of meeting abundant, beautiful women obstructed having genuine fun at the…

I thought this girl was leaning in to kiss me as a prank. I didn’t think it was possible that she actually liked me. So, to avoid getting rejected by her, I rejected myself. This was me 24/7 in highschool. I literally thought most people hated me, and were only being facetious and fake-nice. Probably the loneliest times of my life.

I think Dale's point has more to do with criticism than complying to everyone. You can have your opinions and values and express them, just don't criticize the opinions and values of people you'd like to know. It's more productive and persoanlly advantagious to listen and gain perspective because it's a guarentee that you don't fully understand where they are coming from. When people are listened to and understood, they like that. Socratic reasoning is a great way to debate in a non-combative wa…

It's meaningful to see myself perform better through diligent practice and self analysis. Look, I'm not advocating a lifestyle of basement dwelling and video game addiction. In my original comment, I was only lamenting that video games aren't always seen as an interesting hobby, when some people can be quite passionate about them. I'm not even saying they deserve to be seen as interesting.

Top 10,000 would probably be a very high rank, so I'm definitely nowhere near that point yet! I'm 20, and before Overwatch, I would have never identified myself as a "gamer". Competition in general was a new thing for me, and I've had learn a few things about myself and the process of improving. I have to place my ego aside and focus on slowly progressing one step at a time, as opposed to forcing wins and getting upset when things don't work out. Maybe this is more interesting than the game itse…

Creeps continue to press after a girl reacts in an overwhelmingly negative manner. As long as you don't do that, you're not a creep and that girl is wrong. Don't even defend yourself by saying "I'm not a creep", just go away.
