Somehow you take the most pivotal moment of my life and pretend I'm white nighting or playing lawyer. You can do better. Your straw man misstatement of where I'm coming from says more about you than it does me. For the record, I was later arrested due to a, later proven false, allegation of assault of a woman who punched and kicked and broke a door on my leg. The key was that I had defended myself. If my act had been aggressive, at all, they would not have dismissed it. So no, I'm not a lawyer. …

When my ex was punching me in the face while I was driving with our 1 year old crying in the back seat, I grabbed her leg and tipped her upside down until I got to the driveway. Oh, I agree, she assaulted him, but not in the moment he destroyed her. The video was cut to show her assault close to his. If someone hits me, and a minute later I destroy them, that minute will put me in jail. That's vengeance, not self defense. Vengeance isn't protected. It comes at a high cost.

She shouldn't have hit him. But she wasn't hitting him when he finally hit her. He hit her because of something she said. I've got no respect for that. Trust me, I've been that angry with my ex, but I didn't destroy her. Because of that, I have a great life now. That isn't self defense, that's him not walking away when he should have. That video would put him in jail 100%of the time. It's such a sad moment. No pity for her.

I'm very sorry to hear that you went through that. I hope you have found healing in your journey. It's amazing the layers of healing we need. We are here for you!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
