Learn to be happy by yourself and with yourself, be content with being single before you dive into a relationship. Not only does this give you confidence in yourself, any sort of happiness you generate will be amplified and transferred to your partner when you ARE in a relationship. Don't rely on your partner for all of your social satisfaction (It puts too much pressure on them, you look needy), spend time with friends away from your partner, have hobbies/sports/things to do that don't involve …

I have a natural stutter that varies from crippling to unnoticeable, variable on fatigue, stress, sobriety, anxiety, nerves and some days my tongue just refuses to cooperate just because it wants to. When I was a kid I was taught a few techniques; Exaggerated enunciation of words with strong mouth movement will you limit your stutter, and try to start a troublesome syllable on a strong breath outwards. Don't be afraid to pause mid sentence to take a breath. A side note, because my stutter is alm…

Look at their forehead or where their nose meets their brow if you or they feel uncomfortable holding eye contact. It looks the same to the other person but doesn't feel like you're glaring.

I knew a girl during my teenage years, we were really good friends; Inseparable. Eventually like many of these stories go, we grew apart and thought I was in love with her. I never pursued her, I didn't have the confidence, and after years of reflecting on the situation I realised I wasn't ever in love with her but rather I was in love with the idea of her. I loved who she was, but it wasn't romantic.

Another piece of psychology; Men are mostly rational, logical creatures. Attraction, love and sexuality is far from rational or logical so trying to apply that point of view creates what we have above. I think about this a bit; I'm interested in a girl, she's interested in me so why do we have to go through the song and dance to get together? It makes no logical sense, but I roll with it.

Saying 'My intentions aren't to be negative or offensive' doesn't make it true. Your entire post is about telling us that our self improvement, social skills and confidence building aren't honest for whatever reason. I think you should spend more than a few days/weeks, try at least 3-6 months, in this community before you throw out such oBviously erroneous points of view.

Depends how you say it; With a cocky smirk and a wry look in your eye is simply playful confidence. If you say it with desperation or flat then yeah, it's creepy.

Pick up is different to dating. What the guy is talking about is just having fun, sex and enjoying being (presumably) young. This is a thing that some girls, and some guys, need to realise; Just because we're picking up the girls with a low future value doesn't mean that's the type we're attracted to. Some times, a lot of the times, we want sex and look for the closest source that will do (There's still standards, but we aren't considering how they'd mix in with our family, lifestyle and furnitu…

I've been friends with a guy for over 20 years (I'm only 25), but every now and then he'll shoot me down 'for a joke or a laugh'. He did it once and then immediately did it again when I tried to play it off as just a mean-playful joke to the others. The mood died and he walked off, then I did the same. Afterwards I explained to him that it was an incredibly rude thing to do; Friends don't ruin another friends good time, that when I'm out I like to enjoy myself and to roll with the situation. Tre…

It's more the point that she over valued what she brought to a relationship and what that would get her in return, turning down males that met 95% of her 'criteria'. It's sort of cold hearted, treating the idea of having a life partner as a business commodity, an acquisition of goods and rejecting the 'faulty' products.

Dating sites skew the market incredibly in the females favour; A real life 6 would easily become an 8 on a dating site. It's just the real life market pushed to the extreme.

This goes against a lot of what Seddit teaches; Stop giving a fuck and just go. No ones going to give you shit for wanting to improve yourself.

How's the stutter? I have a stutter too. When I was a kid (11-12) I took a 'class' that trained you with effective ways to deal with a stutter. It helped though it didn't kill it completely, it was definitely worth while. The best technique to get over a annoying syllable that I remember is 'hop onto the breath'; Before you start a new sentence make sure to take a huge breath, then forcibly exhale through your mouth and start your sentence. Especially useful when you're angry as it calms you dow…

It maybe a coincidence, but the 2-hander that Nefarian drops is called Ashkandi... or better known as Asscandy. Very subtle. Well done.

Happiness isn't a permanent state, it's temporary. Like when you achieve a goal or receive a compliment, those moments are all limited. You cannot be happy 100% of the time. If you are, or try to be, then there's something wrong with you and should see a professional. Trying to make a woman happy at any time is no ones responsibility except the individuals; Others can assist, and some do a very good job, but ultimately they cannot be responsible for how someone else feels all the time.

I'd like to point out that there's a difference between when a guy find a girl hot and when he finds a girl attractive. Attraction varies, but generally speaking hotness is a universal standard.

You can make almost anything sound exciting by talking about it with passion, involving and giving some way for them to relate. I do it all the time when cooking. Just be careful, it's a fine line to cross into seeming arrogant.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
