Dating apps haven’t worked for me at all, I get some matches but I find it extremely hard to start and keep up a conversation via text, while in person I could go for hours.

I think it’s too hard to get someone bored once you share a real connection, hours become minutes. Granted a coffee shop, bar or restaurant has a ton of distractors but what place doesn’t have them. And regarding impressions, personally I like to impress women by being myself, not paying for a fancy dinner so they can see how big my wallet is.

And just keep on trying, keep going out, meet new girls, have fun, the more you do it you’ll start losing the fear of it and doing it naturally. Rather than focusing in the end result let yourself enjoy a nice interaction with someone and things will start flowing in the direction they need to flow

So this is an advice that my grandpa gave me and has worked many times with me. I’m very shy when it comes to romance and not quite proficient in reading nonverbal cues. Once you feel like you are connecting well and you have exchanged some hugs, ask her if you can kiss her, if she says yes then go ahead and kiss her. Let her be the one who guides you and just let yourself and her enjoy the moment. Be clear about what you want and respect what she wants.
