1	From r/TechnicallyTheTruth I've been asked by people before to just refer to them by name and let them announce their relationships before. Obviously if no one involved cares it doesn't matter. But if you only refer to someone as the wife of someone else as in, not their name or anything about them that isn't from the perspective of being linked to their partner, it's not great. It's "sexist" because it by far happens to women more than men, that they are only known as "Y's wife" and such. She's saying that describing someone solely as "your wife" is diminishing. I've heard this before and I agree. People should say "this is blah blah, my wife" think of how often you think of someone only in terms of who they're married to, it's probably a lot. 2	Oof You misunderstood, I meant that it doesn't matter how good you are at your craft, just that you can attract money. Mitch was "better" imo and I enjoyed his humor more, but I (and the industry) recognized that he was much more niche and wasn't worth investing in him. Like, someone selling out a show is also as much about marketing and advertising as popularity or skill. OBVIOUSLY Hart is also a good comedian, great even. I've enjoyed some of his bits too. I accepted it as it was a higher than market offer for me. Luckily she knew her worth and actually got a starting salary higher than mine, for the same role and IC level. She ended up a full 15k hire than the initial through negotiating. Both salaries are under 100k for reference. They absolutely low balled her initially, hoping she'd just accept.
