F*cking gold right there. Life is hard, but you gotta be harder than life. Great post. Most of us are indeed satisfied with excuses and lies rather than facing the unpleasent truth. Personally I wouldnt go for the 'would love to get to know you better'. The fact that you are talking to her is already showing you're interested in her. But if she really was interested in you as well it didn't matter how you said it. She would respond. Give it some time. If she doesn't reply soon, better luck next time. Forget about her

From what I know you can edit the settings, make both options private. In my case I sometimes leave it on read. Could be because I looked quickly but was too busy to reply and forgot about it afterwards. If someone makes an issue about it, they aren't even worth the trouble

Forget about it. You did what you did, and you should learn to stand by your actions, even if they aren't the right ones afterwards. Apreciate the honosty. Totally agree, have left it off quite dry and indeed gave her an oppurtunity to not continue the convo. Should I step up my game on the same girl or quit it all together? Any tips on where to head the convo as well? Was mostly keeping it safe since my buddy who actually was the one that spiced things up got turned down

Well I saw what her hobbies were on her page and opened the convo with that since I share the same interests. Asked her what school she's going. Studied a similar study in the past so I offered her some names that could fix her an internship. She said it wasnt necessary for now because she will need an internship untill the third year (she's in her 1st of college). Told her no problem, good luck. Thats where it left off. (Didnt bother to screenshot the text since it wasnt in English)
