Any good collections of Tao material in pdf form? I'm strapped for time but would love to get some material on my iPod for mobile reading.

I know it's a bit late but is the Fast Seduction zip collection the complete and comprehensive archive? I downloaded them all and would like to spread them as much as possible so they're not lost forever but I feel like it's really watered down.

I'd say pretty much everyone from the ASF days is worth at least giving a shot. All of the big names are wildly successful and it's really up to you which one fits you best. Then there's off shoots. Julien with RSD is growing on me for example. I'm still waiting for a new kickass Mystery Method instructor but judging by his Facebook updates, I don't think Mystery is in the mood for business as of late. Style has endorsed a few guys who I can't think of cause I've been shirking on the theory side…

Okay? I mean every girl I've ever actually conversed with. If you thought I meant "Yeah dawg I can message a girl I just met 10 minutes ago and she'll be like 'YOU'RE THE BEST'" then yeah that's bullshit haha. Any girl I actually befriend or move forward with LOVES to text me. Everyone nowadays is so shallow. Try texting some of your male friends. I bet you never send a 10 or more word response to each other. "Dude what's up?" "Not much, u?" "Same lol" "Cool bro." "Lets hang!" "K" I actually hav…

I agree with the first part of this wholeheartedly. I don't understand why guys act like texting is this thing that should be avoided like the plague. EVERY girl I've ever texted says I'm an awesome texter. I like to make the joke: "You know those girls who ignore their dates or their boyfriends for their phones? It's cause they're texting guys like me." I do agree you shouldn't try to over escalate but you should see texting as holding down the gas pedal. I'd never ask for nudes or to sext but …

Exactly. People have this weird idea that old = not valuable and new = the only thing that works. They don't realize that old technology in the game isn't "outdated" it works because it works. I mean sure you can't say: "Hey guys, real quick, I need a female opinion. Who lies more? Men or women?" Because everyone knows that LINE. But the underlying principles are still there: 1. False time restraint ("real quick") 2. You have a reason you're asking the question (need an opinion) 3. Opinion opene…

It depends on the person. I remember when I first got into this community, I pretty much vowed that I would never LIE. In fact, I even talk about the community. I tell girls about the work I've done on myself. I don't lie to girls. If I do, I usually do it as a joke or quickly say "I'm just kidding." You're right guys can get laid by lying but that's not self improvement. That's acting. It means you got a good shot at going into movies but personally whenever I succeed with women, it's a HUGE co…

Alright buddy. Tell me all about when you're at that level. Getting QUALITY girls to sleep with you is never easy. It's worth the work though if you're awesome. Because you deserve awesome girls. But all too often there are guys in this community who try to say "Hey guys we should stop picking up girls! Getting girls isn't about learning how to get girls, it's about circle jerking and convincing ourselves we're awesome!" The golden age of pick up is over. I miss when pick up was about pick up.

Umm, in this community it does. Like I said, seduction is a subset of the self help community. But with one caveat. It's in relation to women. Take a look at basketball. There are multiple ways to measure success. Whether it's being able to dribble the ball and run down the court without looking or consistently making 3 pointers. Both are definitely forms of success. But which is harder? Which is a better indicator that you're growing better as a player? I'm gonna assume you said being able to m…

Haha okay Tyler! Dude, that mindset is even MORE destructive. You're right. Girls DO like to have sex. But let's be honest. Before you learned pick up, did you just magically get sex all the time? Did you walk down the street and girls just say "Hey we're both horny! Let's fuck!" Cause odds are, they didn't. Yes calling yourself awesome in your head is great and all but at the same time, it can quickly become an excuse. This isn't the fucking self help community. It's the SEDUCTION community. Th…

I think it's funny how guys try to come here and say "Guys you're really better than this!" That's not the point of this community. Not only that, we don't want to be saved. The thought that you're better than any of us is not only insulting to us, but damaging to your growth as a man. The article poses a decent point. Sex isn't the only goal. The seduction community is a glorified self help community. On that token, however, one must remember that success in this community is measured by the op…

I can agree with this. My current girlfriend is a girl I met just before I got swept up in the whole PUA craze. I don't regret learning the tactics and gaining confidence, but I can't imagine actually enjoying my relationship as much as I do if I knew she was only with me because I played the game perfectly. Of course there's nothing wrong with getting women that way. It just feels a bit more honest when you're not trying to game girls. When I was heavily into this stuff, it was kinda fun "rever…

Was digging the article until he implied that Mystery was a joke. What works, works. This community is about sharing and growing. Not tearing apart and trying to prove you're the best. Sounds needy to me. If you're good, let your work rise above the rest. Don't try to debunk other people's success in a feeble attempt to look good.

Text game and phone game in general is all comfort building. I'm sure most of us are aware that push/pull and humor can get you points and retain attraction but you can't really build attraction through texting unless you can get her to sext. Even then you're better off driving over and getting laid.

Seduction is about giving men choice. Hoping someone will give you their number doesn't make you the selector. It makes you the beggar

Well when I say that, I mean I would reply to every text I got. But I did make it a habit of only replying on my own time. So whether it was a minute or a day, they'd get a reply. But I think that's an important tidbit. Your phone doesn't control you. It's a delicate balance. You're right. It's a lot easier to decrease attraction. I have sexted with my fair share of girls so it's possible that I'm often moving towards that and that's why it helps more than hurts. I dunno. I think it's time to st…

Maybe it's where we live or something but a lot of girls here absolutely LOVE texting. I remember even if I tried to be scarce, they'd get upset. I still don't think you LOSE attraction no matter what. Like I said, assuming you're not boring/weird, you can at least MAINTAIN attraction. As someone said though, this is my experience. So I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong. Texting builds comfort. I can't stress that enough. But I feel that in certain stages/situations, building comfort is it…

Well I think it depends on circumstance. I never text when I'm out with people. But I bike to get around. So texting while I'm biking gives me a free 20 minutes to talk to multiple girls. It's not something I "practiced" I was just good at it and learning seduction got me better. I don't think I'm an outlier. I think it's just ignored. However, like I said, this isn't meant to be some way to develop attraction. Phone/text game sucks balls. You nailed it by saying "A guy can spend 10 hours workin…

I never said I was building attraction. I just feel like as long as you don't bore girls (which MOST guys do when texting) you don't necessarily LOSE attraction. Cause the best way to make someone want you is to occupy their thoughts. What's a better way than to text them often? Also I'm not saying the OP is wrong in any sense. I'm just saying it's not so black and white. In person will always be A MILLION times better. Quote me on that. But phone/text doesn't have to hurt you like so many guys …

I believe saying "Every message you send loses you attraction." That simply isn't true in my experience. I've had more girls than not tell me I'm the "best texter they know" and that they "love talking to me." Texting is comfort building. You should only text a girl as long as YOU are having fun. If you're having fun + she's already attracted to you, texting won't hurt you. A little push pull through texts will keep her attraction buoyant if you're really worried about losing her. But still, eit…

Talk to literally every person who walks through the door. I haven't done this yet but plan on it. I remember once I went to a Starbucks for the sole purpose of getting my favorite drink. There was this asian guy in there talking to a relatively attractive girl. I'm watching him while I wait for my drink. After 10 minutes she's laughing and smiling and he gets her number. Also another thing I should add. PHONE = COMFORT BUILDING. Whether you're talking or texting. Using your phone = comfort building. You can almost NEVER build attraction over the phone. You ~can~ if you're good enough. You can use a bit of push-pull to generate some feelings or spark up the interaction, but even then, its ideal to use texting/calling to get the girl to hang out with you in person.

I'll throw some tips out I can expand upon another day. "Mirror" your texting partner. I used to be a huge body language enthusiast. Well I learned that a relatively good way to text was to mirror the other person. "Hey there Cassio! :D How's it going? :) I just got home from school and ugh I'm so tired :c I don't want to do my homework :/" Well for me I'd just "mirror" their text to convey both empathy and that I actually pay attention to what they say. PLUS it keeps the conversation going. "He…

He's easily one of the best guys in the game. He's methodical but great PUAs aren't born. They're made. You know how some guys stay in all day and night playing World of Warcraft? Mystery goes out all day and night picking up women and breaking down how he does it. He looks like a goofball but he gets laid more than just about any guy in the community. Canned material is great and anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to sell you something. While being able to naturally pick up women is good, you're not a natural. That's why you're here. Only one warning about canned material: make your own. Using stuff from The Game will get you caught about 30% of the time. Making your own stuff won't get you caught ever. Also people talking about negging, what? The way I see it: A girl only brings up these tactics if you're doing them WRONG. If you go up…

It depends on how you sell it. I have a friend who, if he talked about video games, would spend 30 minutes boring a girl to death talking about The Legend of Zelda's storyline and how video games are art. Meanwhile with my girlfriend, I turn it into a joke. It should be 1 hour of theory = 2 - 3 hours of practice. While 10 is good, you want to make sure you're not ingraining negative paterns into your mind/game. Imagine if you read "[FR] TREAT WOMEN LIKE SHIT AND GET LAID! CALL THEM BITHES/WHORES/CUNTS ETC" and you don't have the time to read the post. But you just got done spending 50 minutes reading other stuff. So now you go out and for 10 hours you practice treating women like shit. Yes you learn that that's a REALLY bad tactic. But you also was…

I didn't mean to come off as offensive. You made some great points. I'm just letting others know that there's multiple ways of applying this principle to the same situation but also being aware that it's not to be taken literal/set in stone. I'm sure you knew it, but I wouldn't be surprised if guys thought "Hey 80% of guys aren't getting laid so if I get laid that means I'm alpha so I never have to fuck another girl again. Better tell Seddit! :U"
/r/seduction27/12/12 04:18 AM
3

You're taking the 80/20 rule literally. While yes, it's true, 20% of the guys sleep with 80% of the girls, that doesn't mean the other 80% get ZERO girls. They just don't get as many. This is why there are just as many non-puas getting laid. Sure they don't have abundance but they don't get nothing.

Not everyone is antisocial. Even if you can Google any question you have, doesn't mean we do. I almost completely cut Google out of my life just so I have TONS more to talk about with people. "Hey do you know what that movie is with?..." Is a simple conversation starter and is great if it's genuine. Also, Stylelife is for adults/people with jobs. It's not disposable income, it's income in general. Also a lot of the challenges in the book are DEFINITELY weird but there's lessons behind each one. …

A lot of the terminology here predates Seddit to the ACTUAL seduction community. Some date coach telling you to drop $100s on dates before you even show interest isn't going to talk about closing because "that's not how you treat women." A lot of the terminology here is so you can shorthand sarges. In the actual seduction community, a guy can say: Guys get this, I just approached a mixed 3 set and opened with jealous girlfriend. This video is from 2002 so I doubt anyone has used it in seduction since then, until you brought it back :P I do the same thing. I remember I wanted to be a magician when I was a little kid. So every chance I get, I work magic into a seduction. Of course not cheesy stuff like card tricks. I think it's really impressive when it has a story like yours or when it's just organic and you do it in the heat of the moment.

Well to be fair, a lot of Seddit has been mental masturbation. I'd much rather see guys saying "Hey I texted so and so's line 20 times and here are my results!" as opposed to "So guys I saw this movie and it got me into state! I didn't approach a single girl but I was happy!" If only a heavily moderated community existed. Like one where if you don't post a FR a week (without good reason at least) you can't post until you make it up or something. That way guys have something real to contribute.

Yeah I understand that. What I'm getting at is don't dismiss something just because you think it SOUNDS dumb. Like if someone on here says they tried something a hundred times and it worked every time, don't say "I doubt that" just cause you disagree with the line. At the same time if it's smooth but has only been done once, that also doesn't mean it won't work. I think the people who get good in this community are the ones who try anything. Nobody likes negs. It's a hard skill. But its probably the fastest and easiest way to convey value to a girl who assumes she has more value than you. Plus its a great way to hook. There's a difference between a neg and an insult. A proper neg will make both parties laugh or at the very least smile. An insult will make the receiver frown or get upset.

Well yeah that's a fact. To add on, Neil Strauss also said that changes in the community aren't due to women changing. It's due to ego. Whoever is the best salesman is the star that shines. Very few guys do in field workshops nowadays. They don't realize that Lovesystems, Mystery Method, RSD or whoever else are basically giving out the same information.

A lot of people fail to realize that the rules of attraction aren't changeable. Even if you have every book of The Mystery Method memorized, you won't realize a guy is using it on you as long as you don't use stock routines. Everything in pick up is a guideline, not a rule. So if a girl avoids every guy who teases her or opens her indirectly, she's going to spend A LONG time alone. Even if Pick Up was taught at every public school across the country, it'd only be a matter of time until girls jus…

I thought the purpose of the seduction community was to get girls. Not to mentally masturbate about getting confident, ignoring girls and just being yourself. I mean I agree you should learn to stay out of your head but routines/actual game > being faux confident Success breads confidence. Learn to be attractive and you won't need to fake it.

I haven't read No More Mr. Nice Guy but I will say that you're over analyzing it. You SHOULD dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable and you should keep yourself well groomed but it should all be to the point where it's comfortable. A kickass sense of style doesn't mean shit if you feel like an idiot. You shouldn't dress for the sole purpose of impressing others but a decent fashion sense will never hurt you.

Alpha, Beta and Omega are the only real distinctions to make. I can see it now. ARE YOU AN INTROVERT? TIRED OF PICK UP PRODUCTS AIMED TOWARDS EXTROVERTS? WELL NOW YOU, LONELY BETA, CAN BECOME... You don't necessarily have to. Dress like the girl you want to attract OR dress in a way that'd be interesting enough for someone to want to visit your lifestyle. But you can really dress any way you want. It's all about game.

All of those were accurate except for canned material being shit. A lot of people miss the point of canned material. Canned material is so you can improve the odds in your favor. It's like counting cards. Obviously you want to learn what to do when you "run out" of canned material but that's one of the best tools in a seducer's arsenal.

The tragedy of Outer Game going on the back burner is the fact that Outer Game IS HOW YOU GET GIRLS! We're the SEDUCTION community. Not necessarily the self help community. Inner Game is nice but it's useless if you don't know what you're doing. Success breeds confidence. If you want better Inner Game, you'll be a thousand times more confident if you learn ONE opener and open a thousand sets as opposed to reading about how to pretend to like yourself and be confident all day.

I think push/pull can be summed up as giving a compliment but qualifying it with an insult. Think of it as "Ooops I said too much" or "Don't get the wrong idea" So lets say you say "Think fast!" and toss something and she actually catches it. In the heat of the moment you'd pull her in with "OH MY GOD YOU'RE THE GREATEST GIRL EVER!..." then almost like you think you said too much, "Well, that I've met in the past 10 minutes anyway" and keep going. Push/pull works both ways too. "Ugh you're such …

I worded that wrong. I didn't mean for my advice to sound like it was the best method. But yours is definitely pretty far down on the totem pole. If you've got a girl attracted to you, you have no reason not to ask for the number. She's not gonna decide whether or not to be with you based on whether or not or how you ask for her number. That said, the best next step is to bounce somewhere. Don't even go for the number. Push it to the next phase. Assuming you're not pressed for time.

This is terrible advice haha. Like I get where you're coming from but asking for a number is a necessary step. I forget if it was Neil Strauss or Mystery but one of them gave solid advice on it. I slightly disagree. I mean when you say "Hey I NEED a female opinion on something. Who do YOU think lies more? Men or women?" You're asking for HER opinion. You're saying you NEED it. While obviously an opinion opener isn't analyzed like that, it still comes from a point where you're getting something out of her. At least that's how I'd interpret it.
/r/seduction06/09/12 10:03 PM

90% of openers come a place where she's higher value than you. Meaning you have no choice. Opinion openers, direct openers, situational, apocalypse, absurd, whatever the kids are using nowadays, you're trying to get a response out of her. I will say you want to do that as little as possible but there definitely isn't anything wrong with seeking rapport. Cause if noone seeks rapport the whole conversation, something bad is happening. The preferable venue for a PUA is anywhere with girls. If you're asking us for your own benefit, just find out where you're comfortable. "Many, many instructors and master PUA’s are bullshit." That's a pretty bold claim. Not to say that it's not true, but you can't start attacking the big guys who are constantly proving themselves. Among wings, and when describing club game, the HB scale doesn't necessarily refer to her looks. I mean for some guys it might but it's generally a decent reference for how easy it is to open a girl and game her. For example at a club, 3 sets of girls may be the base line. So all 3 of those girls would be HB5s because they're not exponentially hard to open, but it's not as easy as a single target. I remember Neil Strauss said if you EVER get caught using something from The Game or Pick Up just say "Oh my God no way! My friend and I got into an argument about that book and I said it totally wouldn't work! I guess I was right!" and continue on. If you're fun and cool, she's not gonna be like "Nope! You tried talking to me! Despite you being cool, fuck off!" Like Feenix said, we'll get a TON of wannabes but they'll weed out. Think of the movie 21. When that movie came out, Blackjack was hot.…

I'd do anything for the 7 habits book. I've heard it's really good. I just don't have the cash. The Casanova set would be REALLY nice too but I won't get greedy haha. I'm in Arizona in the states.

Haha I'm sure it does. That sounds like some pretty low level propaganda right there. Good job trying to market yourself bro.

That's why you only go to serious bootcamps. Never listen to those guys who spend all their time bashing other guys rather than going in field.

Haha I guess I said that wrong. I might look into it but I don't NEED inner game. I'm pretty confident now. I just need some tactics/tools to step it up. David D's Man Transformations are what I used for Inner Game. Now I care about Outer Game.

I feel like this topic needs to be revisited on a regular basis.

Does anyone have a collection of RSD tactics? Their inner game stuff is shit but from what little I've seen scanning the internet, they have put some GREAT techniques out there.

Opener should seamlessly segue into a story about your life, or another interesting topic. "Who do you think lies more men or women?" blah blah blah "That's interesting. See I read that men lie more but women CHEAT more. What do you think of that?" < end of opener. blah blah blah "Well then... Here's an interesting thought. How do you define cheating? Personally I see it as..." have fun. I have a nice technique for forcing a topic if you're interested in that. You can also make a playful observa…

Nice to see that I'm not the only one who understands that inner game is great and all but it doesn't hold a candle to actual talent. Respect.

Ugh I have this problem too. I'm super social, pretty awesome with girls but completely lost how to become friends with guys. We need a quick easy guide to gaming friends :P

Opening with The Cube is pretty retarded. This is definitely a powerful routine though. Tip: When using the cube ask "Have you ever been cubed before?" If yes talk about it. You don't have to run it. Ask what her results were and what she thought of it etc. If no the run The Cube. It's a win win. If she accuses you of being "one of those seduction guys" then you reply with "Omg no way! My friend and I got into a bet over this and I was totally right! It doesn't work!"

I'm looking forward to this! And isn't Style like really close to this project? I remember in one of his emails Style said he was considering a certain someone to play him in the movie.

I hate how a lot of the kids here think that if you work on inner game (convincing yourself that you're super great!) then you have outer game. Not how it works.

"I will not engage in psychological manipulation to shape your opinion of myself. What you see is what you get." Implying other people don't do that every day. Implying women don't manipulate you to make you want them in the first place. The fear here is the fact that people are afraid to take that leap. You see guys like this calling pick up "manipulation" when they miss the point entirely. If you listen to ANY of the gurus (Mystery, Style, TD, etc) You'd see that the idea isn't to make shit up…
