Yes, it's accurate.

You're an idiot for writing this.

Sobering!

You would be wrong. See the first link. The article it to links to (from COTWA) contains all manner of sources at the end. Then the current post contrasts that with a link to a news article. You would do well to actually read what you criticize before starting one of these silly riffs -- we all grow weary of constipated Reddit readers angling to be pissed off about something.
/r/MensRights07/09/14 10:43 PM

COTWA is the leading "men's rights" blog and it lists a bunch of sources in the article referenced. You're not from around here, are you?

"Butthurt." What are you, 15 years old? Yeah, you're so cool and in control. I mean, isn't it ridiculous that anyone would actually believe you're a complete ass? I mean, you're so very logical and smart and everything! Even though you don't know how to use punctuation or anything. Yep. You're brilliant, you are!

You need to take a basic reading class, is what you need to do.
/r/MensRights29/07/14 12:44 AM

Um, no, that's neither what I meant nor what I wrote. Sigh. You would do well to take a basic reading class. Too much time spent in the tombs of feminist reddit sites.

Didn't he actually mention David Futrelle by name? Several times? And he even spelled it twice?
/r/MensRights28/07/14 07:41 PM

That's exactly the right flair.

No. Here's what I think you're referencing: http://www.consad.com/content/reports/Gender%20Wage%20Gap%20Final%20Report.pdf Consad did this for the Dept. of Labor. It was on the Dept. of Labor's site until the new regime took over, then it was removed without fanfare.

I agree it should be challenged. I am not criticizing any efforts to challenge it, and sorry if I gave that impression. He's a nitwit, and an arrogant one at that. His readers are the angriest people on the planet.

Any reasonably intelligent person could cherry pick for bad behavior in any movement and claim, without bothering to present supporting evidence, that it is somehow "representative" of the movement. That is all he does. What on earth does it prove?

Valerie Solanas was more representative of feminism than Roger is of the men's rights movement. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valerie_Solanas

Let's see how "funny" it is if a guy were to ask two drunk women to have intercourse for $50. They'd have a conniption over that.

Sorry, you miss the point completely. The point is, the very term is purposefully intended to engender or evoke some feeling in males (and, sorry, yes, it's guilt), and suggests the problem is males when, in fact, that is patently silly, except to moonbat radical feminists who think men keep women in their place in order to give males some advantage. That's childish in the extreme, and offensive to every father who pushes his daughters as hard as he pushes his sons. The focus needs to be on the …

This is a brilliant article by Pierce: "Like the lynch mobs of old, modern feminism is animated by a disturbing hostility to the due process rights of the presumptively innocent."
/r/MensRights26/04/14 01:16 AM

The major sites referenced in the article I linked to are telling. Has Jessica Valenti chimed in yet to say that we "know" Bryan Singer is guilty?
/r/MensRights23/04/14 09:37 PM

The allegations are just that--allegations. They should not be assumed to be "rapes" just because an accuser says so.

I hope no one gets hurt-they are vicious people.

And, please, before any helpful feminist supporter points it out to me: I know the story mentions that a male colleague was beaten in the attack. In every report about this case, the male victim of the beating is an afterthought, a footnote to the "real" story -- the abuse of women. Cue more false rape claims. India is now the false rape capital of the world because the outcry over 2 gang rapes in the past few months have emboldened the liars.

You missed the point entirely.

Hey, Ms. Unfunny Comedian: if there were a way for guys to get women to BUY THEM something expensive (for example, a giant flat screen television), don't you think every guy would be plotting how to get one to do it? Except society doesn't work like that. Only women get the big expensive ring given to them. And somehow that makes women victims. Wow.

Watch for how the feminist blogs react to this thread. They will say something like this: "MRAs think poster telling women not to lie about rape is a great thing" -- as if our view is so obviously wrong that it it is self-evident. You see, they never bother to get down and dirty in these debates with silly things like evidence. They simply keep repeating their lies, a la the Nazi Big Lie, and expect their mindless minions to accept them as true without proof. I suggest we not bother trying to en…

From the original post: "Charges against false accusers of rape and sexual assault should not be brought in unfounded "he said/she cases" or merely because law enforcement doesn't believe the accuser. A prosecutor should only bring charges when he or she reasonably believes to a moral certainty that the report was false."

That's a really sexist comment! It's NOT sexist to exclaim that every rape committed on campus last year was committed by a male, or that males are the predominant perpetrators of violence, or that males cause most of the crime. It IS sexist to attribute anything positive about men as a class. You ought to be ashamed!

Sorry, but I don't know "they are the facts" and neither do you. You can't judge the case based on newspaper accounts.

Excellent take on it.
/r/MensRights22/04/13 11:20 AM

"Considering these facts, and they are the facts: Where are you going to slide in an "open mind" about Rehteah Parson's particular case?" There aren't even charges in that case, much less a conviction. I hope you don't have access to rope and a sturdy tree. You'd be the type to lead the lynching party.

You are joking. Nobody outside of your strange little bubble believes this nonsense. You need to get a life, and ditch the victim fetish. I don't appreciate angry nutcases.
/r/MensRights13/03/13 04:48 AM

Yeah, kind of like when David Futrelle cited the one frat boy who mocked rape to prove rape culture. Right. The feminists do this all the time, and this is just an illustration that it can be done just as much (and a lot of people think a lot more) the other way.
/r/MensRights13/03/13 04:24 AM

It is but another, in an endless cavalcade of examples, to illustrate that males are not privileged.
/r/MensRights13/03/13 03:35 AM

Yeah, I understand. Perhaps it's more like reckless disregard for a person's life. Akin to shooting a loaded pistol into a playground and claiming it's a "mistake" that you killed someone.

By the way, this is hilarious. Just a piece of advice, Pierce. You are the best writer, and the best thinker, in the men's movement (I know-you're going to insist you're not a men's rights advocate). You have a very short fuse with the haters, and this is something that is going to get to you eventually. I went back and looked at some of the comments from the weekend, and I see who she probably is. My advice to you is don't feed the trolls (unless it's some hilarious comment like this).
/r/MensRights04/03/13 10:59 PM

I think you're both right. It's a mistake, but it's so reckless it's deserving of the badge of fraud.

For the life of me, I can't see what set you off on this post. Pierce responded to you respectfully. Your anger is very odd.

My guess is that a disproportionate number of hard core feminists are receiving government assistance. They have time to write foul-mouthed blog posts, though, don't they?

Amazing how many trolls on this site here hate the presumptively innocent.
/r/MensRights11/02/13 03:58 PM

Do you know how many little boys die every year in this thing that's not a big deal to you?
/r/MensRights24/08/12 11:16 AM
4

I agree, Zerbu. That's one of the most ridiculous quotes ever, and Ann Landers says it's "excellent." Hey, Einstein: if all the boys are chasing after the few really attractive ones, that means -- do the math with me -- a hell of a lot of boys ain't getting anyone. But of course, why should we expect them to even consider that? The focus is on the girls.

Police took him in for questioning that night. That's where the video was shot of the blood on the back of his head, at the police station.
