Dan is a fucking loser. A shining example of how money alone can't make you a man no matter how much you have.

Why can't they get laid?

This is stupid whataboutism. They're completely unrelated issues. I would argue that the erosion of traditional romantic relationships is destabilizing to society and presents very real problems for the future. Rapidly declining birth rates, the total loss of cultural cohesion, increasing violence and polarization, etc. These are not "first world problems" but real issues that impact the fabric of our civilization. I'm married but I can see this clear as day.

Personally I've never felt older men are serious competitors. The unfortunate reality is the vast majority of men dating at 35+ are complete losers. Usually at least one previous divorce, maybe kids from a previous relationship, usually bitter and headed for or in the midst of a midlife crisis.

I'm not an ancient Egyptian nor am I an 18th century french royalist, what a ridiculous comparison lol. Cultural context matters. Strength, resilience, initiative, decisiveness, courage, etc are signs of power, not some stupid paste you smear on your face. Even women wearing makeup is kind of stupid because it amplifies insecurities about their natural look so they can be sold more useless consumerist products. I'd bet my house that the near absolute majority of men who wear makeup are homosexua…

Yeah chop your cock off and lube your butt up too the women love that. No, makeup isn't for men. Making yourself more effeminate won't make women want you. I understand it can be challenging sometimes because society pummels constant anti masculine messaging into our brains. Being a man, acting like a man isn't a bad thing.

Yeah man tons, I'd say a good chunk of my peers are like this. Lots of flings that last very short term but they suck shit at building serious long term relationships. It probably also doesn't help that so many women are whores these days

Yeah I've been there and done that. War is no place for women man. War also isn't just "shooting bullets" like a video game. It's hauling 70 lbs of kit through the shit, you need to know you can count on the guy next to you to haul you out of the shit if you go down. Women are fucking miserable at warfighting, I've seen it firsthand.

Being a hyperbolic nerd doesn't disprove my point. The average man is better equipped than the average woman for violent conflict by orders of magnitude. Testosterone makes us much more predisposed to aggression and violent tendencies, sometimes that's a bad thing but sometimes it's very good like when your nation is being invaded by a foreign army.

Neither should be able to abdicate their responsibility after conception, we need less broken families not more.

Who do you expect to do the fighting and killing? Women and children? Men are hardwired for violence and conflict, there is nobody to do this duty but men.

Virtue and charisma aren't mutually exclusive either, while it's true lots of dudebro degenerate fratboy types get laid all the time, they aren't living the life. Being married, having a woman cook your meals for you, clean the house, defer to your leadership, etc is living the life. You can get pussy with charisma but you cannot get married and lead a family without also possessing virtue, the guys with no sense of virtue are playing in quicksand made of their own shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/22 06:03 AM

Because modern western society constantly drills into the heads of men that we must be meek, agreeable, effeminate, etc. Modern society is absolutely antithetical to masculinity imo

Yeah definitely, there's a whole camp of guys who don't effectively manage their emotions or "trauma" (I hate that word) so they're a walking mess of outbursts, anger, and unresolved issues. Simply bottling your shit up doesn't solve the problem. You have to come to terms with yourself and then regulate your raw emotional response to those memories or events. I think a man's back should be wide enough to support himself, his wife, and his children, possibly his community too if he has a heroic s…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 08:48 AM

To an extent maybe, but women don't like men who cry and whine. A lot of them will argue up and down that they actually love emotional vulnerability but it's not true, they love expressing their own vulnerability and that isn't the same as being attracted to vulnerability. The greatest tools a man can come to possess in his life are emotional regulation and self control.

Online dating is broken by design, it's a rat race and a joke. I tell all of my friends to get off of it and delete it forever. Especially if you're a man, delete all of that shit and never look back.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 08:12 AM

Men kind of get the short end of the stick with this stuff but it's nature, women don't really want to hear about your problems and issues. You can be open and truthful but I'd be cautious not to make yourself look weak in front of your woman, you end up undermining yourself. It's not even a deliberate or malicious thing, it's just that while women like being able to express vulnerability to their partner, they're not attracted to vulnerability.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 08:04 AM

Most women look their best by simply not being obese. Women can hold 30% bodyfat and still look great because it all goes to their breasts and butt. They definitely don't need to put close to the same amount of work in physically to get there. But they've gotta put up with makeup and all of that bullshit so there's that
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 07:26 AM
1

Not in the current political environment no, but a century ago we collectively decided to enfranchise women and change the course of history forever so now we're living with the consequences of those decisions. Women have helped to build a society where it no longer makes sense for them to have children or get into relationships. The long term effects will probably be devastating and incredibly destabilizing to the basic functions of society.

Maybe 7 years but I haven't trained seriously in at least 2 years. I don't understand why you're whining so much? Whether it's a moderate effort or more intensive it's well within the realm of achievable. Don't be a pussy and sell yourself short for no reason. Obviously you can only push weight and grow at a rate that works for you, but everyone will naturally progress so long as they have the basics of diet and training down. An untrained adult man can put 10-12+ lbs of muscle on in his first y…

I'm 5'9 175 and I used to bench quite a bit more than 225. These days I'm right around that, I have young kids and I'm not able to train and diet like I used to. Still, I'm not fat and I'm reasonably strong
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 06:50 AM

Come on man 1 plate isn't impressive thats like 135 lbs lol, most completely untrained adult men are around that strength before they start training.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 06:46 AM
1

Yeah thats not genetics, that's just most people having absolutely no idea what they're doing. I would say 6 months with a modest calorie surplus and a good clean diet to grow optimally. I know natural teenage kids benching 225, it's really not that crazy
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 05:53 AM
4

No way man 225 isn't that extreme at all. Very doable natural and untrained in 6 months unless you're starting off morbidly obese
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 05:42 AM
7

Just don't be lame and you'll be fine, I think fears of this are overblown. A lot of people who complain about dead bedrooms have shitty relationships/marriages in general. Sex isn't just sex for women, if you're not getting it then there's probably some deeper issues in the relationship that need to be examined and discussed. A lot of guys just stop trying, some of them take their women for granted after so many years. You can never stop making an effort, that's the number one thing
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 05:41 AM
0

Most guys can bench press 225 with 6ish months of moderate training. I think that's a fair expectation for men. Women may not understand the intricacies of physique or strength building but essentially what they're getting across is that they want strong men, I don't think that's an unreasonable request in itself.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 05:36 AM

Thats really sad, that isn't healthy at all. I'm sure it's similarly awful for men
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 04:19 AM

So long as lady 2 is also submissive then it doesn't matter that much either way. Most of the guys who hyperfocus on this stuff just watch way too much porn.

Most women don't have a very good grasp of what they want because their biological desires are at odds with 50 years of ideological and cultural programming. A guy with an average face and good strength, resilience, self reliance, ability to provide, etc will do great with the overwhelming majority of non political women.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 01:34 AM

Women are agreeable, behaving more like a woman won't make women want you
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 01:20 AM

I spent a few years there as well and they certainly don't teach you how to be a man. What I'm talking about is a much wider macro shift in how our society and culture treats manhood. The men of today have zero purpose, a lot don't even know how to behave like men.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 12:48 AM
3

If your point is that western men have fallen from grace then you're correct, but it's largely a product of the environment they've been raised in. Causing spiraling depression, mental illness, violent backlash. We are in a sad state of affairs today and it's looking like things will become much worse in the years ahead.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 12:41 AM
3

That's because men aren't designed to look pretty. Your gripe is with mother nature lol. Men don't need to bank on looks to succeed, traditionally men rely on physical strength, aggression, initiative, decisiveness, courage, and leadership to succeed. The male path to success is one that is fought for and conquered, woman's path to success is negotiated. Different biological imperatives which lend themselves to men and women honing their inherent advantages in different areas.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 12:37 AM
3

I don't disagree. Just take a good look at yourself and make sure what you have to offer is on the same level of what you're demanding.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 12:20 AM
10

Sure, I wouldn't even consider being with someone I'm not attracted to. But the amount of average women who suddenly don't want to be with average men because of tinder and Instagram is kind of mind blowing. I mean you can hold out for your entire life if you'd like, it really is your choice. But dying alone isn't a happy thing, which is why I feel bad for all of the men and women who are products of the current age.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 12:14 AM
11

What does being alone for your entire life have to offer you? What does being a childless yass slay girlboss working 50 hrs a week until you hit menopause have to offer you? I think these are all good questions. A lot of women have been tricked into a rat race with no winners.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 12:02 AM

Women despise violence personally because they're physically weaker than men and do not possess the same hormonal makeup that allows for men to succeed in violent confrontations. At the same time, they're biologically hardwired to be drawn to men they perceive as being capable of violence to protect them. There is a formula here, women aren't attracted to raw unfettered aggression coming from some random lunatic in public, but they're absolutely attracted to a man who has the capacity to inflict…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 11:45 PM

Idk man it's an interesting scenario but I think it almost never happens, women generally just don't behave like that. I've been in some bad situations before, I've been in some fights and I've had a guy pull a knife on me and threaten to cut my face out. Never in my entire life have I felt threatened by a woman. I've met lots of shitty guys looking for trouble but the women you're talking about are very rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/22 10:53 AM
12

Yeah you know why? Because like I just said, the average man could kill the average woman with his bare hands. The disparity in strength, lean muscle mass, and even bone density is immense. The average man has 60 pounds on the average woman. Thats why the scenario you're talking about almost never happens, the overwhelming majority of sexual assault and violence is perpetrated by men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/22 09:34 AM
18

Honestly there's a reasonable explanation for this, it's because the average man can kill the average woman with his bare hands. Transgressions and behavioral expectations are going to be different because men and women are different. If a drunk girl comes up to you in an alleyway and gets all over you you can just gently push her off, what's she going to do? Nag you to death? It's not the same if a drunk man gets all over a girl in an alleyway, that man can easily overpower her and do something…

Because no men actually want that, and since you don't understand men you'll pursue that dream and die alone.

Yeah 100% money is stupid. Outside of providing a house, food, and basic financial security money becomes an increasingly diminishing return. People chase material wealth because they worship consumerism like a God. Men definitely aren't just ATM machines, that's why men who make lots of money but are never home and present for their wife and children are still failures.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/22 08:20 AM

Unless I'm making 300k a year, a woman who makes 100k a year is a liability to me. The greatest evolutionary gift men have to offer women is protection, leadership, and provision. If the woman makes as much as you do or even close to it then you as a man have just been sapped of the greatest things you have to offer. It fundamentally undermines the status of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/22 07:34 AM
1

Sure it is, it's more just a reflection of your total inability to practice any level of self control or agency. It makes you look like a huge pussy with no moral grounding. In short, yes, you can love that which you fail, neglect, and destroy. But that just makes you a moron and a failure
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/22 07:28 AM

Restraint is inherently masculine as it relates to total control over your emotions and actions as a man. Porn is objectively harmful, and especially so for men because we get sucked into it so easily. Male sexuality isn't broken, your sexuality should be focused on your woman and nobody else.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/22 07:24 AM

FDS is funny but also kind of sad because it's mostly women who've been treated like shit in a previous relationship to the point where it's destabilized them as a person and made them kind of insane
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/22 07:20 AM
2

The destruction of ancient social structures with no viable alternative is the destabilizing element. We tell boys to be less like boys and we shame masculine behavior. We destroy the social stability of traditional families so we can have strong independent girlbosses who will uphold the global financial status quo
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/22 07:08 AM

Your view is distorted by pop culture and porn, I think that's the glaring weakness in your analysis.

There's nothing wrong with verbal confirmation, the more open you are the better those lines of communication will be. Your woman especially should always feel the safest around you.

Yeah plus when the fuck are career women supposed to have kids? The workarounds they try to throw together are insane. Some of them think they can wait until they're about to hit menopause, others will have them and then ship them off like livestock to be watched by strangers for 50 hours a week so they can do their girlboss shit

You've articulated perfectly why women shouldn't be in the workplace. It's so dysfunctional It's not even funny. Women naturally want to be protected and provided for, this biological nature runs directly counterintuitive to wageslaving in the workplace to feel like a confident strong independent woman. Lawyer and doctor women want to partner up with even wealthier and higher status men, it's normal and natural. Having women in the workplace and in the halls of power is not natural, the end resu…

Oh yeah absolutely, make no mistake the man is in charge. The final decision or "veto" should always rest with the man. My wife understands that I'm in charge, but also that I'm a man who loves her and not some tyrannical asshole. Personally I'm not agreeable at all, I'm probably a little too stubborn for my own good. I just mean in terms of liability and culpability the man must provide no matter the cost to himself. If I can't give my woman a house there's nobody else to blame but myself. Same…

Honestly couldn't tell you, I punched way above my weight with my wife and I'm still wondering how I pulled it off lmao. I think too many guys get bogged down worrying about minutia when most women just want a guy who behaves like a man. I make decent money, I'm fairly strong, I've provided a house for my woman and children, and I'd kill without hesitation to protect my family. Dating apps and social media obviously amplify people's anxieties and make everything worse too
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 10:34 AM

Tall women tend to have longer legs too and the overwhelming majority of men like that aspect, I've seen plenty of attractive tall women before it's just I could never date one myself. For me personally I want my woman to perceive me as a protector and that's best emphasized when you're taller, bigger, and much stronger than the woman. Thankfully there's lots of guys out there who either couldn't care less about height or they're quite tall themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 10:20 AM
5

Plus it's worth noting a lot of tall guys (6'+) tend to have ectomorphic frames, not to take anything away from those guys but I feel pretty strongly that an average height guy who's built like a brick shithouse will do better with women 9/10 times than a really tall lanky guy who weighs like 140 lbs soaking wet.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 09:46 AM
7

Not male culture, just a lot of guys who (rightfully) feel hopeless so they project. The reality is men shouldn't be fat soft slobs of shit. Every single man on earth who isn't bound to a wheel chair is capable of being strong and capable. Male culture at its core is the proliferation of physical and mental strength, that kind of strength draws women because of instinctual and evolutionary traits. While most won't admit it, the vast majority of women are attracted to men who look like they can k…

I used to live in a mid size city but I bought a farm in the middle of nowhere when my wife first got pregnant, best decision I've ever made in my life. The cities are lost, all you can do is retreat, regroup, and prepare.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 09:02 AM
2

I mean none of this is surprising, obviously if you're a 6'3" 240 lb shredded aryan warrior you're going to be a chick magnet. I just don't think it's as important as most guys worry it is, provided you're average and not actually short. If you're average height but you're built like and behave like an actual man your height won't be the limiting factor. Personally I've never had it be an issue, but I've also never tried pursuing women taller than me either
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 08:59 AM
18

Tbh I'm 5'9" and I've never ran into the height troubles a lot of guys talk about. Most women are short as fuck, I think the average is like 5'4"? So long as you're taller, bigger, and stronger that's all that matters
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 08:52 AM

No offense, but you're denying the faith by not taking a stand against promiscuity in society. The impact of promiscuity is deep and multi faceted, it leads to broken families, children with inadequate parents, whole swathes of young men that feel destitute and hopeless. It also treats women like a sexual commodity rather than a human being.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 08:44 AM
1

It certainly caters to women but I would say it actually caters to women so heavily that it acts as a detriment to the wellbeing of children. There are an astronomical number of little boys out there growing up in broken families without fathers because of no fault divorce and modern family law. The media is a problem. So are the dating apps, so is tiktok, Instagram, porn, and TV. The thing is, the course we're on is not sustainable. It's becoming an increasingly destabilizing element in society…

I know it's tough for guys who don't already have women. I witness my peers going through this exact shit and it's infuriating. If you're going to play the game that men almost always lose then rewrite the rules at every opportunity and shatter the damn board. Best advice I can offer is to seek out apolitical women, as these women will usually acclimate to the views of a strong male partner they view as a leader. Women with strong political opinions about feminism, or being "liberated" are a tot…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 08:20 AM

I completely understand what you're saying about women. Most women today are incredibly opiniated and political, they dress and behave like whores in public. But they're also weak, the people who uphold our society as it stands now don't actually believe in anything past pleasure and immediate self gratification. Whatever delivers the dopamine hit is good. Their world stands on toothpicks and one day it will be shattered. Men bleed and die in war, men lead nations and revolutions. It will be men…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 08:16 AM

Yeah and the number for both should be 0% because neither should be serious factors, they're symptoms of a decaying society with no cultural or moral fabric. Just consumerism and the commodification of relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 08:04 AM
2

Trust me I'm all the way traditional haha. When it comes to social dynamics I'd pin myself for being as far to the right as physically possible. Men do get compensated, I can speak from experience as a married man with a family. Meeting a good woman is certainly a prerequisite but the purpose breathed into your existence by a woman and children is unparalleled. I have someone who cooks for me, cleans, cares for my children, etc. Her commitment to our household is absolute. In return what I offer…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 08:02 AM

Yeah I've heard of that happening. But it's vastly inferior to organically meeting people in real life like humans have done for the last 200,000 years. My little brother has been through 5 tinder relationships in maybe 2 years. It's absurd.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 07:55 AM

Online dating is complete bullshit, don't even participate. I cannot emphasize this enough, I see my peers use that shit and it's depressing. Stop participating in the rat race, that's step one.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 07:47 AM

Honestly I disagree here. I understand you're trying to highlight hypocrisy but I think this mindset just sets us further down the path we're already on. If you ever want to be happy in your life, if you ever want sons of your own and a wife then you must understand women are owed commitment. The woman you choose to be your life partner is owed everything from you. Whatever mountain that needs to be moved must be moved, as a man and the head of your household it's your job to engineer solutions …

This minus the therapist because therapy is mostly bullshit. Lift, read the Bible, don't seek confrontation but never run from it either. Choose your battles carefully and fight them to the death.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 07:30 AM
1

That's completely false lol, an overwhelming majority of women prefer to be courted. Men and women both benefit from this arrangement because it serves our nature. Even if you think biology and evolution are bullshit there is 10,000+ years of socialization behind what I'm saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/22 03:44 PM
1

No offense but you don't seem to have a very good understanding of what you're talking about. In your OP you claim that if it were "true love" then men wouldn't need to court women, this is a foolish take. Men court women because of hormonal makeup and hardwired biology. Likewise women desire to be courted and not to pursue because of their hardwired biology. Men and women naturally behave in different ways, this has no bearing on the intensity of real love or the value of marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/22 03:23 PM

Prostitution is a sin, marriage is the intended natural relationship between men and women. Paying a whore for sex is doing a disservice to yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/22 03:15 PM

You're absolutely correct in your assessment about the future place of men if we continue on the current trajectory. This is my greatest concern, I believe this path will lead to violence and destabilization. You cannot alienate, isolate, and spit at young men and expect complacency. We are not ants or bees, human gender allows for a social order in which men and women both can perform the roles they most naturally excel at while complimenting each other in a symbiotic way. I believe this is God…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/22 02:14 PM

Put simply, looks are a little less important for men to possess than women, because men contribute value to women in other ways. Like being able to effectively accumulate resources and being able to kill other people. The problem is social media and app dating overemphasize looks above everything else while discarding the evolutionary traits women naturally select for in men. Good looking men do not make the world go round, hard and able men make the world go round.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/22 01:07 PM

The divorce rate, rates of single motherhood, and birth rates falling off a cliff at the same time show that relationships, and the social order between men and women is broken. I'm married but I think society is approaching a breaking point where we'll enter into an increasingly violent and destabilized environment. The great social experiment is a failure, and it should be shouted from the rooftops.

The fundamental issue is men "date down" and women "date up" because of our biological and evolutionary nature, not to mention thousands of years of socialization. This will be felt most harshly as more women attain higher education while less men attend college at all, it's the beginning of a dating and wider demographic crisis. Those women who've pushed their way into traditionally male domains in place of male workers will not want to opt into "dating down" as the men do, because it's not the…

Yes it's very common for many women to claim they don't hold those sentiments, many probably think they don't. You've had an entire lifetime of cultural exposure so this society and its values are your only reference point. Your real issue is your mind is saying one thing but your hardwired nature is saying something entirely different.

This is the fundamental problem, the way you feel isn't wrong or invalid but it illustrates perfectly why women shouldn't be in the work force. Wealthy women crave the same evolutionary traits all other women seek in men. You want to feel protected and provided for by a man who makes the same or preferably more than you do.

Generally, they want physical, financial, and emotional protection. They also want stability and competent leadership. Strength, courage, resilience, initiative. These are some of the most beneficial traits women select for in men from an evolutionary perspective.

I don't think you have a very good grasp of history or sociology, I'm not trying to be antagonistic I genuinely feel you're under equipped for this discussion. The role of women and men has changed dramatically over the last century, more radically than the previous 10,000 years before it. If you can't even acknowledge the gravity of this massive shift in how we organize our societies then there isn't much for us to talk about.

How many millions of bodies have women sacrificed on the altar of war? Barely a century ago women couldn't even vote. You say the current organization has always been the norm but you're being intellectually dishonest by conflating acts of desperation in desperate circumstances with the wholesale transplant of women into the workforce and the halls of political power. The two are unrelated.

Childcare has been the universal norm for women since the dawn of homo sapiens 300,000 years ago. Political power has been the near universal domain of men since the formation of organized societies in the Neolithic era. You're right that women often did not have the luxury to stay home and -just- clean the house/care for children, they had to frequently take on other duties to ensure the family's survival. But these were acts of desperation in the face of scarcity, poverty, famine, war, and dis…

Sure, in a system of forced labour they also worked in the fields but I don't see how this helps your point. It's not really relevant to the modern western workforce or what I'm talking about. Feminism has provided a 50% divorce rate, social discord, alienation for young men and women alike, and birth rates falling off like a cliff in exchange for a temporary increase in GDP.

I understand the context of what you're saying, but I don't think we should be looking to institutions like serfdom in Russia for inspiration on how to organize our societies. I do believe extended families should congregate more and contribute to the family's wellbeing through childcare and other means, and I do believe women are more than capable of hard work if they need to do it. But, removing men from leadership positions and dismantling the natural system of patriarchal social order is a h…

The pursuit of women's "liberation" is a lie. It deluded a generation into thinking that wageslaving in the work force and getting divorced three times are hallmarks of individual freedom. Where are we now? Both parents must almost always work in order to make ends meet, to get a house and have basic finances in order. To accommodate both parents working they must frequently pay for childcare which tends to be unreasonably expensive. Both parents come home from work exhausted and drained, the ho…

Read the Bible, keep exercising, go to church, focus less on your career and more on being a good woman. You have inherent value as a human, one day you'll find a man who wants to marry you and take care of you.

Yes and yes. There is a little more nuance to the problem though, it isn't the "fault" of women so much as it's the fault of society at large for permitting the continued destruction of the family unit and the erosion of cultural cohesion. Men and women are both to blame, though many women have certainly been fooled into a lie.

Dating apps are a complete waste of time. I would really strongly discourage any men from using dating apps as they're only propagating and enhancing the total commodification of romantic interaction. Men especially do not benefit from these apps in the slightest, it's a rat race.

I would say I support patriarchy pretty much in its entirety as a stabilizing element to society. I don't support bad men acting like tyrants and treating their wives like shit because they feel like it, that obviously isn't acceptable or desirable. I think the concept of matriarchy is illogical because it doesn't make much sense from an evolutionary perspective. Generally, you want your leaders to be the strongest individuals with the highest degree of initiative and decisiveness, these are phy…

"Although men are still cheating more than women, recent data from a survey by the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago says that the gender pattern is changing. The younger the respondents are, the higher the percentage of women who have cheated (a difference of 2.9% between women who are 18 to 24 vs women older than 65) and the opposite is true for men." This is a pretty key part of your article, there is an enormous paradigm shift occurring in western culture. Young w…

No lol, it's what paleolithic people did in the absence of any established social order. Patriarchy doesn't stop conflict between rival tribes, races, or nations by any means but it does allow for social cohesion and domestic stability, which in turn gives rise to things like organized society as we know it today.

Patriarchy is the check and balance that allows for a reasonably harmonious society to exist without men constantly killing each other and raiding each other's villages over women.

Because we're monkeys hardwired to want to breed, but we're also big brained monkeys with the capacity to exercise restraint and courtesy. There are no excuses for speaking about women in such a way, it's disrespectful and degenerate. Especially if you already have a woman talking about other women in that regard is completely unacceptable. I've called out friends on this behaviour and I'd encourage other men to do the same.

Thankfully you only need one woman and not 10 or 20, every church I've ever been to has at least a few young single women and men. But the real point here is you have to look in the right place and you have to make yourself into the right man. Read the Bible, lift weights, show your good nature to others and show the women in your community that you are a strong and dependable man.

You deserve to be entitled though. You should have a man who is able and willing to take care of you. I agree there is a large aspect involving socialization but biology plays a significant role as well. Men's physical bodies and their endocrine system are built from the ground up to be proficient at hunting animals and killing other people. Everything from musculature to aggression, decisiveness and initiative are deeply influenced by our hormonal makeup. These differences make men and women be…

Monogamy is absolutely the goal of dating. Monogamy brings a tremendous amount of stability to societies and individual people, it's a cultural institution that is currently rotting and eroding, and we will be the ones who ultimately pay the price for letting society degenerate.

I would probably contend that the majority of men and women here are atypical, I don't think that's a negative thing though it's just an observation. We can still draw on our experiences to understand and contextualize the wider social issues we discuss but I wouldn't put a whole lot of weight into the thoughts expressed here as any kind of reflection of the general population's feelings. Even hard left feminist women still want men to pay for dinner because the existing gender role framework is…

I think PPD is an unreliable source to compare against the thoughts and feelings of the general population, because this is an obscure psychology/sociology subreddit, you're going to get a demographic of people here who are likely quite different than the rest of the general population.

The better question is, who the fuck needs to bang 1000 different women? Being a man whore isn't a solution for a society plagued with whores. These people are mostly peddling bullshit, although the overarching message of the red pill is largely true. Don't overcomplicate it and try not to spend much time listening to men who brag about boning prostitutes. The problem is being able to distinguish ideology from biology. I don't doubt for a minute that 95% of women -say- they like emotional men, and most of them probably believe that because it's the trendy ideological norm of our era, but the reality is women still want men they perceive as being strong, stoic, and capable of providing. Their political ideology is at odds with their biological nature, it's a complex and multi faceted issue. Possessing a healthy spectrum of emotions and being able t…

Men need purpose and station the same way flowers need sunlight and nutrient rich soil to bloom. Masculinity is existential, it not only defines us as men but it's concepts equip us with the guiderails of what noble conduct should look like. Strength, courage, sacrifice, decisiveness, initiative, accountability, and emotional control to name a few. In modern society, not only is there an absence of "traditional masculinity" but it's actively discouraged. The result is multiple generations of com…

Failure is not only unattractive but it's antithetical to what women need from men. The good news is failure is normal and entirely part of the human condition, so long as you live and breathe you can stand back up and keep fighting. If you feel you've failed then you need to assess your own goals and desires, create an operational plan, and execute on it with the entire force of your will. So long as you live you can fight.
