In my experience the female managers /women in leadership positions have a much harder time separating work life from personal life and often combine the two. The males tend to not to. If they occasionally do they usually don't take a lot of things personally if you say something critical involving work.

I feel really sexist for saying this but the worst jobs I've ever had involved women in managerial/leadership positions.
