The instrument shit is weak. I play piano and guitar, but I always lead off with something else. My bread and butter was the post-game. I always had a stash of like 30 beers and some weed for when the bars closed or the parties got shut down. It helps if her friends think you're cool. It helps if they think your roommates are cool. Don't invite her to come post-game too early at the party. Instead, tell some people you're close with to swing by later as they walk by. Say you've got beers, weed, …

Sorry this turned into a "who's school is smaller" contest. The social dynamics at a 6,000 student school is gonna be a lot different than a big ass state school. I went to a 2,700 student liberal arts college, so I'm familiar with the problems. What exactly are you worried about? A girl telling her hot friends that you're awkward? Cause that's gonna happen, and it'll suck, but that's as bad as it's gonna get. It's not like high school. There's no intense bullying aspect when you embarrass yours…

You're far off, buddy. Read some top posts, click around the sidebar, whatever you gotta do. You gotta gather the essentials. Congrats on the confidence tho. Don't lose that. Remember that even the most confident guys act unconfident sometimes. Figure out what triggers that and start working through it.

Real clever way to spin the situation. She probably felt a bit out of her element given what you said the conference was, so not only was disarming that the smart thing to do--it was also the kind thing to do. About the hand-holding, it was just a little too much right after she said she had a boyfriend. The whole "I'll walk you to work" is funny as shit because it pokes at the fact that you don't care. The hand-holding was overkill. Next time when you have a great interaction like that, just ki…

I might use this cause it gives them something to prove. I wonder if phrasing it more negatively would work to weaken the compliment and make your approval more valuable? Like, "tell me, do you have anything going for you aside from your looks?"

Sorry this answer won't help you right now. I feel you though. Start solving these before they start. It might have been a better idea to push her back on the phone number--it was a little weak of you to accept something less than what you asked for. Especially after she stayed at your place. Get the phone number, or make sure she leaves thinking you probably won't be friending her on Facebook. Double check she's got everything, take her to the door, firm 1-pat hug before a confident, neutral go…

If she says she can't make it to the date, I'll say that after I got her message I made plans already. Do you want our help with the fact girls back out on you regularly? Or do you want to stick it to her? Think about how she felt this week considering it was you who asked her out and then left it the way you did.

School Fitness Prioritize these, do them right, and you'll be some percent happier 100% of the time. Girls have nothing to do with this list. The guys having fun at the party are the guys who know they have a handle on themselves. There's a reason why this sub talks a lot more nowadays about inner-game. This is the college version of that. And when I was doing this at my best, I even enjoyed the homework parts. Start with the basics--go to class. Skipping is a slippery slope for more reasons I c…
