| – | Weekly check-inReally rough. No matter how I approach a conversation big or small, I’m jumped all over reactively. I’m a leader and I get constant practice and coaching in communication, which I try and put those lessons into my private life. But in my own house am told I am the problem and it’s just eggshell season. So uncomfortable and there is no relief. My only true friend who I consider a brother is separated by 1000s of miles and we both live busy lives. Feels like failure always. | /r/MenSupportMen | 08/07/24 12:53 AM |
| – | Weekly check-inIt’s such a hard lesson when the invitation for time and attention is there. Unfortunately the message is what you came away with. They need to be cut out even when it feels like there is nothing left. | /r/MenSupportMen | 08/07/24 12:49 AM |
| 10 | Do other men feel like this?I feel exactly that. You realize that no one is in your corner except you. I certainly have gone through phases of ruminating on it, and using alcohol to quiet that voice. Right now I’m just focusing on my loving son, and doing things that when I wake up in the morning I can be proud of. Best wishes man. | /r/MenSupportMen | 30/05/24 04:12 AM |
