Modern women and modern men are not compatibleNo worries and yes, that would be enough for me. I don’t know what red pill is, but I guess I should if I’m on this forum! Yeah, I don’t agree in cheating because trust is probably the most important thing in any relationship. An open relationship is fine if both parties consent. Each to their own. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/06/21 01:09 AM
Modern women and modern men are not compatibleWhy do you think that is so common? Why do you think that could happen to a man but not a woman? I know depression well because I grew up in a family where it was ever present. No one ended up a fat slob and while challenging, the family members worked through helpful coping strategies together. Was it hard? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. Is it ongoing? Yes. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/21 08:33 PM
Modern women and modern men are not compatibleThat’s not really his mindset. Even when he is unemployed he keeps himself very busy learning or with projects that interest him. We have been together 10-15 years so I’d say it’s going just fine thanks. Our marriage has survived unemployment, a pandemic, moving countries, and 2 kids. Actually I think that unemployment is easier to weather in a modern marriage given you have 2 incomes | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/21 06:36 PM
| -1 | Modern women and modern men are not compatibleMy marriage is modern and it works just fine thanks. We both have fulfilling careers and love spending time with our family and friends. My husband is secure enough in himself that he really enjoys this life as much as I do. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/21 12:41 PM |
What do women gain from being married in this day and age?3 | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/21 01:45 AM
Dating women forces men to be superficialAre you under 25? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/06/21 10:57 AM
Dating women forces men to be superficialI’m not implying it’s a ton, but in my circles social media activity is not correlated to status at all. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 10:33 PM
Dating women forces men to be superficialIf I had to generalize I think women probably care more about how respected a man is in society and men care more about how a woman looks. So hot, lower status woman probably date up when younger. But I think women likely have more holistic criteria including things like Will my friends and family like this guy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 10:32 PM
Dating women forces men to be superficialOh yeah, we are definitely in different age groups. Social media has fuck all bearing on status in your 30’s. Unless your a Kardashian I guess. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 09:20 PM
Dating women forces men to be superficialOk, maybe that’s true. It’s not in my circles but I’m probably a bit old and irrelevant these days. Big social media stars seem to be women often and I’m pretty sure they do it because of the money. I’m sure men would do it in droves too if there was the same financial incentive. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 09:17 PM
Dating women forces men to be superficialI think it’s both. The quarterback gets a whole lot of status and female attention too. I think everyone has a bit of a status obsession, but it has different presentations depending on what you value. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 08:49 PM
Dating women forces men to be superficialThere are plenty of women who don’t use social media to show pics of themselves - it’s often community and thought focused. Perhaps I’m showing my age here but all of the women I know on social media are connected through shared interests. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 08:36 PM
Dating women forces men to be superficialI think it’s worth debating things, I just think in this instance there are quite a few other factors. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 08:34 PM
Dating women forces men to be superficialDoes winning a sports competition not give you status? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 08:26 PM
Dating women forces men to be superficialCould it be in part that more adult women are at home with kids and need a social outlet? Could be just as much about buying cheap kids clothes as it is about status. But thanks for providing the stat - I didn’t know that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 05:20 PM
Dating women forces men to be superficialEven if your comment is true, it could be all sorts of things driving it. Men could be more afraid of failing publicly because expectations are higher. Women could crave more social connection. They are all massive generalizations with no back up. The fabric of society and gender norms are hugely complex. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 05:18 PM
Dating women forces men to be superficialSource please? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 05:16 PM
Dating women forces men to be superficialMy husband was debating with me yesterday saying men are more status obsessed than women are. Men like competing more according to him. So depends who you talk to I guess. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/06/21 03:16 PM
Why do people insist that only women postpone having kids when many women risk becoming single mothers to have kids?I had kids in my 30’s, but have a surprising number of friends in the 35 -40 age range who are having fertility issues. It’s a legit issue. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/06/21 04:37 PM
People are underestimating the popularity of the childfree movement in Gen Z.My comments have been comparing gen z to millennials, not older generations. Can you please clarify your well thought out comment so we can discuss? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/06/21 12:14 PM
People are underestimating the popularity of the childfree movement in Gen Z.Yes, but I don’t think millennials and gen z are that far apart. We didn’t have income security either, and women felt economically and socially free. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/06/21 11:06 AM
People are underestimating the popularity of the childfree movement in Gen Z.I’m guessing you are under 30. In my 20’s everyone swore off kids. Most of them now have kids although only 1 or 2 are more common. There are definitely more loving the child free life than would’ve existed a few decades back. I’m an older millennial and we got to choose. I’m not sure Gen Z will wind up being so different. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/06/21 01:26 AM
CMV: Older women's proposal to men their age is no different than the "nice guy's" proposal?I'm not sure that's general advice dished out it's usually more specifically tied to a person. "I know Jeremy has washboard abs, but he cheated on all of his past girlfriends!". | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/06/21 10:47 PM
Men's group and ACLU urge Supreme Court to hear challenge to male-only military draftRBG famously did the inverse to get women key rights. It’s a good tactic to show how absurd some rules are when reversed. | /r/MensRights | 31/05/21 11:15 PM
Straight men will not spend a significant amount of time/are not close friends with a straight woman in whom they are not sexually or romantically interested.I agree that’s a huge issue too. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/05/21 11:18 AM
Straight men will not spend a significant amount of time/are not close friends with a straight woman in whom they are not sexually or romantically interested.Men would benefit from non-sexual intimate relationships too. The whole idea that men only want relationships for sex is toxic. No wonder men experience higher rates of mental health issues than women. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/05/21 05:08 PM
Straight men will not spend a significant amount of time/are not close friends with a straight woman in whom they are not sexually or romantically interested.Because I have many men that I love and know well, family and friends. I know they have all sorts of interests and desires beyond their dicks. The planet would be an awfully boring place if half of its residents had no interests beyond sex. You’re not giving men any credit. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/05/21 03:59 PM
Straight men will not spend a significant amount of time/are not close friends with a straight woman in whom they are not sexually or romantically interested.I like to think men are more than just walking, talking penises. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/05/21 03:50 PM
Straight men will not spend a significant amount of time/are not close friends with a straight woman in whom they are not sexually or romantically interested.I think they are related. How do you rationalize male family members treating you well? If men are incapable of having interactions with women without trying to sleep with them, how is it possible they have good relationships with family members that are women? I think it’s probably to do more with a lower crossover in shared interests/ hobbies. Doesn’t mean it can’t happen and be genuine friendship. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/05/21 03:42 PM
Straight men will not spend a significant amount of time/are not close friends with a straight woman in whom they are not sexually or romantically interested.Of course men and women can be platonic friends. You think that your fathers and brothers want nothing to do with you because they can’t sleep with you? What a juvenile view of relationships. I bet a lot of people on here commenting that it’s not possible will be younger than 30. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/05/21 03:18 PM
You shouldn't spend any money on a girl before you've slept with her (with minimal exception)Fair enough. I’ll lay off the personal references. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/05/21 12:15 AM
