"You can flip it the other way around and say that women are praised for turning down sex and staying pure, whilst men were assumed to have never been pure, because we’re just rabid sex machines. Men are shamed for turning down sex, and have their masculinity questioned." Never considered this before, very good point IMO.

Not only is this insulting to, well, common sense, but it's also incredibly offensive to those who have ACTUALLY been raped. Being raped is a traumatic, terrible experience, and to those who have been raped at gun or knife point, she says "Oh, totally with you, a guy looked at me weird one day. I totally feel you, man." Edit : to clarify, I'm referring to the "raped by his eyes" bit.

Let's say I smoke pot with some people. I get arrested, and the video surfaces, though they had just filmed it for the hell of it without telling me. Sure, I broke the law, still not cool that they filmed it like that.

Was the incident filmed with the intent to incriminate the teacher? If it was just filmed for the sake of filming it, I really don't see how the two can be compared.

In the video, sure, but I don't think she was saying that what she did was in any way right, or that the video somehow clears her of any wrongdoing.

She doesn't say she's the "real" victim, she says she did not give the consent to the video, that's all. She says it herself : "It's not that I didn't get it," Colleps said. "I should never be able to teach again."

This is absolutely the WRONG way to look at this. She is in no way obligated to like you simply because you're nice to her, there could be any number of reasons she doesn't want to go out with you, all of which may be perfectly legitimate. "or is she just a bitch who doesnt recognise a good guy when she sees one?" Are you fucking kidding me? Just being a nice person doesn't mean that every girl on the planet will want to go out with you, there are MANY more deciding factors than just that.

Question : How does the law look upon the fact that the children are being required to leave the country in order to follow their father? Does that matter at all, or is it largely irrelevant to the ruling?

It's annoying when they pretend that the exact same thing doesn't happen to men, and act like its some injustice they face at the hands of "patriarchy" or whatever they decide to label it. It's good advice, but it's the context they give it in that's annoying.

Videos like this are incredibly annoying. The fact that women don't get what "they deserve" in the workplace isn't because they're being discriminated against, but, from my experience, is simply how corporate environments work. Sit back and play the honest, above board tactic, and you won't get anywhere, regardless of gender. But at least have the decency to not pin it on gender.

This kind of reaction is hilarious when any similar reaction to the whole decapitation of a rapist thing is met with "Why would she lie about that, god you're such a sexist pig." The benefit of the doubt only goes to women, it would appear.
