| 0 | Male circumcision is a human rights violation that must be stopped say European leaders….Thanks for the great and respectful response! It is much appreciated. It's helping me understand this perspective much more. | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 06:09 PM |
| 4 | Male circumcision is a human rights violation that must be stopped say European leaders….Thanks for sharing being respectful about it. I genuinely appreciate it. Your response is very enlightening. | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 05:45 PM |
| -16 | Male circumcision is a human rights violation that must be stopped say European leaders….Ok. Thanks for sharing. While it may be perfectly natural and healthy, there are benefits to being circumcised. Less chance of penile cancer, urinary track infections, and the such. Just as the appendix and tonsils, the "hood" can be a source of sickness. Out of a religious and cultural perspective, I few this as a preemptive beneficial, relatively safe, and not very painful, surgery. | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 04:57 PM |
| -13 | Male circumcision is a human rights violation that must be stopped say European leaders….I know a definition but in order for me to fully understand where you are coming from it helps to hear your perspective. I mean that's the point of this right? Is to have a discussion on the subject? Or is this just a rage thread? | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 04:42 PM |
| -5 | Male circumcision is a human rights violation that must be stopped say European leaders….I just don't understand the barbarism view of this topic. EDIT: Clarification | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 04:40 PM |
| -10 | Male circumcision is a human rights violation that must be stopped say European leaders….Can you define your definition of barbarism? Being a circumcised Christian I don't particularly find it barbaric. Take a few minutes to settle down too...let's not have a emotion fueled debate. Let's have a dialogue. | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 04:34 PM |
| 0 | Male circumcision is a human rights violation that must be stopped say European leaders….Can we get a perspective of male who is circumcised and wishes they weren't? Additionally, can we get the perspective of a male who voluntarily got circumcised? Let's have a dialogue instead of a debate. Debates and yelling matches are pointless. | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 04:28 PM |
| -17 | Male circumcision is a human rights violation that must be stopped say European leaders….Did you know that African tribes do this too? You should go after them as well. Tell me, what constitutes barbarism for you. | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 04:26 PM |
| -11 | Male circumcision is a human rights violation that must be stopped say European leaders….As a circumcised male, I don't particularly feel that I'm "missing out" or that I have been wronged at all. As mentioned below, circumcision is a religious institution and not necessarily a harmful one. Either let the religion abolish it or what it eventually go away as people fall away from the religion, if they do. No need for an organization or government to get into it...especially when there are more important human rights violations around in the world. | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 03:55 PM |
| -5 | Male circumcision is a human rights violation that must be stopped say European leaders….Circumcision is a religious tradition for both Judaism and Christianity, yes. It is not a cultural tradition. | /r/MensRights | 01/11/13 03:46 PM |
