I would bet everything I own that the risk of being the victim of a violent crime in the western world is MUCH greater for the average man than the average woman. I've seen men have beer bottles smashed over their heads, been kicked in the face, sucker punched, slapped, hit with objects, pushed to the ground and stomped. That is how I think. A couple weeks back I saw someone who was well over 6 feet tall with broad shoulders, an adams apple and a very masculine looking face. This person was wearing a wig and women's clothing. When I looked at them my brain immediately identified them as a man dressed in women's clothing. That is just what it looked like to me.
