My experience with ChatGPT has been pretty different, to be honest. That might be because I open up to it a lot. I'll say things like, "I don't like this aspect of society. Do you notice it too?" Because of that, it seems more willing to discuss these things honestly. For example, I've found that it'll acknowledge that certain double standards do exist. You just need to give better prompts.

I grew up in WB, India. WB has always been like this and different from the rest of the country. WB men ( Bengali ) are trash talked by literally everyone in the country. The conservatives consider them losers cause they are progressive in general and their own women trash talk them too despite of the Bengali guys being very protective and respectful towards women in general.

Nobody is denying that. The problem is with framing of the term. Can you tell me how it is getting corrupted ? Naming is corrupt from the beginning as it has an identity attached to its term. If you attach an identity to a term that is viewed as negative with time the identity will be viewed as negative. I have said it clearly that it should be called "patriarchal gaze" instead which helps both.

I agree with you Op. Fortunately I was not raised to hate on gay men. I grew in a state which is comparatively liberal ( socially ) than my country. So I had seen gay men are either treated as "threats" by other men or "wrong" by conservatives. It was strange to me because people say we live in a patriarchy so every man is supposed to be equal and priviledged. But gay men were not treated that well.
