The realization that I'm still beta despite my radical self-improvement.No do not approach unattractive people to "warm up". In the same way that playing a competitive game versus a better opponent will make you better, you need to feel challenged to improve your game. If you only approach people who you see as unattractive it will be too easy to you because there is no or less fear of messing up, etc. You won't learn much that way. | /r/askTRP | 07/12/15 08:43 AM
The realization that I'm still beta despite my radical self-improvement.Online dating is an awful both as a metric and a method of meeting women. If you systematically work your way through the system you can get dates but it just isn't worth the effort required when you can approach someone instead and skip all of that. Approaching should be key and like the self improvement you have been doing it is something that takes practice. So you may start out like a goofball but you can learn and improve. | /r/askTRP | 07/12/15 08:14 AM
I'm new and I screwed up big time. Advice?Come up with some personal goals for self improvement. Write them down if you need to. When you spend all your time pursuing your own goals your life is more interesting and your value improves. As a side effect you may feel less need for external validation. | /r/askTRP | 13/09/15 04:41 AM

Took your guys' advice yesterday and tried to comfort a girl and empathize. I don't know what to do next.I don't think he is downplaying day game, just explaining that your strategy isn't as practical to implement for everyone. | /r/askTRP | 01/09/15 04:36 PM
oneitis returns with a vengeanceEven if you were to become friends again that only lasts as long as she wants it to. The second she doesn't need your emotional support anymore don't be surprised if she fades out on you. I feel like a friendship would only drag you down as it already sounds like you are falling over yourself thinking about her. If you think you are ever going to get what you want from her with these feelings guiding your actions you are deluding yourself. Just think about this for a second. You are only 20 year… | /r/askTRP | 09/07/15 04:59 PM
