Long enough to get you in a Kimora with limited effort. This is a stupid debate and I ultimately don't care what this guy decides to do. Quick question though: How long have you been training jiu jitsu and what rank are you? My advice is still the same: don't wait to start jiu jitsu. It can change your life for the better.

The main philosophy behind BJJ is to empower the physically weak to contend with more power and muscular build. I disagree. Just hit a BJJ gym and start lifting at the same time. They compliment each other very well. I'm 150 lbs, don't lift, and regularly destroy the jacked beginners. If you think being strong is going to make you dominant when you're new, you obviously don't train. Technique > strength. Postponing your start might derail your motivation and starting jiu jitsu is one of the best things I've ever done in my life.
