I disagree with your analysis. Belle could have an Alpha(Gaston). She chooses a monster instead because they are both mutually misunderstood(Belle reading and not wanting the most powerful man in the community). It's feminist in the sense that Alphas males are all Gastons, but not in the way you're describing.

That's one of the things I hate about Reddit. There's a complete lack of incentive to post anything contrary to public opinion. Also, all comments must be "positive". I've seen many times women attribute negative comments to "victim blaming" and the allegation is never questioned in it's legitimacy. It's so ironic that she wasn't banned for her comments but you were.
