Don’t give up on the dating apps. They are a great way to meet women outside of your social connections. Get advice on your profile to increase your number of matches, and if you are having trouble turning matches into dates and dates into something more, you just need to keep practicing. On another note, I’m starting med school in a month too and I imagine meeting women while one is so busy is very hard.

If you’re not having trouble getting tinder matches, you should be able to set up dates from there. Going on tinder dates will give you experience talking to women which will teach you way more about seduction/flirting than you could possible read on the internet. I’d recommend this over cold approaches because you’re guaranteed to get the time and attention from women that will help your improve your skills with them (cold approaches and online dates aren’t mutually exclusive though). If you ne…

Ask multiple friends to review your profile for you. Especially guy friends that have had success with them

If she’s initiating conversations and topics to talk about just going along with it cannot possibly hurt you. The only downside is that it may take up your time and you might not like texting much. If the text conversation is ending naturally let it end, but if she keeps texting you and you’re both clearly into each other mirroring her effort over text will only help you

Hey op thankfully women have a wide variety of preferences. Yes, being tall, muscular, and handsome will give you a slight advantage with most women, but attraction is way more complicated than that. Having confidence, social skills, and your life together is a much bigger advantage than being tall and handsome with your average women and most guys are capable of attaining these attributes.

Not saying you should sleep around, but here are some pros. It will increase your experience seducing women and being comfortable interacting with them, which will better help you be able to get the right girl when the time comes. I met my gf on hinge and I honestly think I would’ve had trouble pulling her if I didn’t have girl experience from going on lots of random online dates and sleeping around. Also, for someone without a lot of experience, sleeping around will likely increase your confide…

I think the way to handle these is more in the delivery than what specifically you say

Obviously online dating was a big thing before COVID, but I think the more limited opportunities of being able to meet people in real life encouraged people to go on online dates

I’m a 24 M and have been on about 85 dates from tinder/bumble/hinge over the past couple years (met my gf on hinge in January 2022). I had a different gf from tinder that I met January 2021 and dated until September. Ever since getting back on the apps in September of 2021, I noticed 1) It was way easier for me to get dates than before and 2) It was way harder to get 2nd dates than before. My theory is that COVID made going on online dates way more mainstream. This explains why it was easier for…

I agree with basically everything and barely post on insta as well; however, it’s worth mentioning that you kinda need a presentable insta. You don’t need tons of pictures or tons of followers, but when your tinder match or the friends of the firm you’re dating look at your profile you don’t wanna look like a total creep with no friends

Hey OP I am a 23M and I feel like I’ve had a very similar experience to you. Over the past 5 years I’ve gotten with many women and have also had a few GFs. However, whenever someone wanted to seriously date me I felt like I was out of their league and whenever I seriously wanted to date someone else they weren’t interested enough in me. I want to get married and have a family some day and I felt like I’d be forced to settle for someone if I wanted to accomplish this. However, at the start of 202…

Tell them before the first date you’re not looking for anything serious. Will filter some people out, but the ones who stick will be much easier

He said they “start showing signs of interest” so OP isn’t 100% sure if they’re interested. My understanding is that OP sees a girl in public, she maybe makes eye contact and smiles at him, but he feels like beautiful women must get annoyed by men approaching them all the time and thus he doesn’t also want to impose on them. I think the answer is that you have to come to terms that you may often be imposing yourself on these women OP and to just do your best

I pretty much fully agree with your original post OP People on these forums always give the advice to make your #1 goal focusing on yourself and then women will come. It’s good advice to focus on your career, the gym, your hobbies etc. and put less focus on women. I do these things and like you, I understand that a large part of my motivation for doing all of these things is to attract a quality girl. It is kind of a paradox - if the girl thinks all you want is her, then she won’t have much inte…

To answer my own question: last girl I dated was 30 min and it never really bothered me even once Went on a few dates with a girl an hour away and it was fucking annoying as hell That being said I think 45 min is like the max

I like what hunterpua said. Additionally, I felt the same way sometimes OP, but then I realized I was probably lying to myself because if I find the right girl I’m sure I’ll eventually commit. I used to spend too much time pursuing girls I was semi attracted to and semi interested in. This was fun cuz I enjoyed their company and dates for more than just sex, but I knew I’d never commit to them. I’d suggest downloading dating apps to meet girls outside your social circle and attempting to only go…

What a really funny coincidence…I’m also 23, 5’8, and lost my virginity kinda late as well to my first gf (it was just before my 19th birthday). Had another LTR soon after that and she consecutively dumped me for another guy as well. I grew kind of bitter and started grinding dating apps and doing a lot of hookups (my body count is 40 fwiw). My experience was exactly how you described - fun and novel at first, but eventually I realized how unfulfilling it was. I stopped going on dates with girls…

To all the people saying she’s not interested - it’s how she texts after the tinder date that actually matters. Her being dry after the date is 1000x worse than before because this is a tinder date after all, meaning op has never met her in real life before. From a girl’s perspective, there are probably hundreds and hundreds of strangers messaging her on tinder, snap, etc. so the fact that she’s agreed to go on a date with op tells me she’s at least interested enough. Sometimes the highest quali…

Totally agree dude, ignore the hate here. People on the internet love to find any reason to judge but it isn’t that simple.

If she texted you asking that she’s obviously into you. Just tell her you like her face to face and ask her out on a date

Hot take here but I somewhat disagree with the “nice guys finish last” mentality. If you are confident, assertive, and have a life (be on your own mission) you can easily be attractive to girls while still being a nice individual who treats people with respect. However, if you are insecure, passive, and obsessed with girls, you will not be very attractive at all. These are the type of people who complain “nice guys finish last” but they finish last because they are generally insecure pushovers, …

Hikes aren’t awful and definitely beat stuff like sit-down restaurants by a mile. Idk if you’ve kissed her yet, but assuming you haven’t, that’s what you gotta be aiming for. I’d focus on just having fun talking and breaking the touch barrier on the way up, and then kiss her at some point on the way down or at the end. Breaking the touch-barrier is key to most easily escalating for a kiss and that’s something that seems pretty doable on a hike, plus you’ll likely be alone and not in public too
