I realize there are some bad cases here, and although I agree the Daniel Shaver business was horrific, I imagine we'd disagree about other potential police injustices. It's a big country after all. Because government isn't something you can just eliminate if you wish hard enough. There are inescapable reasons for its existence. You try to live like an anarchist, here's what happens. There will always be some collection of people who realize that you, alone, are weak, and they, together, are stronger than you, and are thus entitled to everything you have. This is actually one of the things that bugs me the most. I would like to agree with them that catcalling and the like is bad behavior, but it falls flat as long as people keep insisting that men and women are no different.
