The person sitting alone either likes being alone or lacks confidence/is too shy to approach anyone, or lacks very basic social skills. 'Chad' the way you're using the term, just means a charismatic guy. Charisma comes naturally to some people, and if they're good looking they were probably conditioned from a young age to have more charisma. Sure, obviously management will be an exception but management is a job that requires people skills (ideally people skills that make you a good leader but people skills that help you manipulate your way to the top will do it just as well unfortunately). But you can have good charisma and social skills while being perfectly average (or unattractive), it's just that looks help. I know plenty of good looking people that are not at all well off because of the family/class they were born into and unfortunately because they're uneducated (I wouldn't say stupid) they have a hard time improving their life. In fact, women that happen to be smart and beautiful tend to not be taken as seriously in professional settings due to their looks. Men don't generally worry that a women will physically harm them and they are pretty much guaranteed to get off, so they're less selective. Or you're incapable of empathizing with other people's experiences unless you can apply to something that might happen to you, personally. If you're a man and can't understand rape from a woman's perspective, look at it from a man's perspective.
