It depends on the dynamic honestly. Some relationships imitate hetero gender roles and some are ambiguous. For the most part, it’s not as rigid in the same way that heterosexual relationships are.

I went to a women’s college, so in my mind I feel like there’s tons of women only spaces. A lot maybe even most women center their lives around men. These groups falling apart is probably due to women becoming mothers/wives and focusing on their husbands and/or children. There’s a rise of people being childfree though so this may change. I also think most people don’t want to live in same sex only communities.
