Thanks for the response. I mean, I'm coming from a very different place as I'm not in need of losing weight. Your argument is sound but I just wanted to probe what your thoughts are on those of us looking for gains and healthy maintenance. But that's shifting from the purpose of your post! Thanks again.

Can you expand on why you call eating windows pointless? Not to stir the pot but those studies are absolutely not relevant to a healthy 20s year old male looking to get gains (switching from the goal of losing weight). To call them "technically pointless" you negate all science on the benefits of fasting, and how can you deny that it's easier to maintain a caloric deficit (if that's your goal) when you're only eating between a a 6 hour window a day? Umm...... since I grew up really religious, just to throw it out there you must not know the story of Judas. Or King David. If you use your logic of looking at followers of an ideology and critiquing the ideology by the mistakes followers of that ideology make, it's pretty fucking obvious that there could then be no good ideology in existence.Spoiler alert: Good people are capable of doing bad things. Like, really bad things. Every ideology has followers that aren't good people. Are you seriousl…

I will subscribe when I can justify the 100$ for a year (they are available to download from you know, those torrenting sites), as I've tried a few of them during the trial and they are enlightening. I like his style, and for a beginner I definitely recommend doing guided meditations. They'll start you at the beginning and help you to understand what mindf…

You need to read man. You're starting to sound like you think you know. You don't even need to study philosophy, but if you took a few hours to learn the BASICS about Socrates and Plato (check out the allegory of the cave) maybe you'll shift your perspective from the thinking above that honestly makes you sound like you think you've come to these deep conclusions and you're getting off on how you're smarter than everyone else because you understand things in this way that other people can't comp…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
